I haven't read the original version of this story, but this is a very intriguing beginning.  I see it has been years since this was posted, but I will hope that you will come back and finish this.  I would love to find out about Kagome's father and the necklace.

Hah this is cute, I like this, it just needs a little something between the the lines. Think about what each character is thinking and wants to do as your story progress and I'm sure youll be able to fill it in some more to make it more solid. It just leaves your readers guessing too much...

But overall this is nice...such a heated humorous tension between our favorite pair
