What a practical and beautiful gift.  If he really loved her, Sesshomaru would want Kagome to be protected all the time even when social norms did not allow for weapons.  I liked how you addressed this subtle idea.

I like where this is going with each chapter. Inuyasha is just going to have to bear having Kagome as a future sister-in-law. I adore that cute scene between him and Rin with the garnet. Looking forward to the next chapter.
