Ooo, the plot thickens.  I love the introduction of characters, and especially a view of Kagome's family life and how they deal with her fame.  

I hope you update this because I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this.

I really like how you did your prologue like news posting.  My only critique is it took me to reading all the way to the end to figure out what it was.    Otherwise, it was really cool!
