OMG i'm in tears! that was so... wow!
That was very sweet. I liked the fable, and I liked seeing a story with Kagome as an older woman. It really grounds the story and makes it more relatable to those of us trapped on this mortal coil. Your writing technique is good, but I found it was even better as the story progressed. As for a little critique, I think Sesshoumaru was a little too revolted by people in the beginning. I think disinterested would have worked better, as if they were beneath his notice. Like ants to us. It's only when ants are in our house or food that we care about them, otherwise we don't even see them. I think that mindset is more applicable to Sesshoumaru. Unless humans are trying to mess with him, they don't deserve his attention. By treating it like that, his affection for Rin and later Kagome becomes more believable. They've earned his attention. Overall, a lovely story. I enjoyed it.
Very Nicely done, Quoth. It had the right amount of somber to make the idea work.
I liked it, Keep up the good work!

I don't have much to say except WOW! That was a wonderfully complete and delightful story. I think it was beautifully spun and left us with plenty of hope for love with our favorite hero. Keep writing please :)
