Hmm, I've got to ask, if Kagome wasn't supposed to enter into the equation so soon, then who could have kept Sesshoumaru from dying from Kumiko's curse?....I think this is the first time I've actually gotten lost in one of your fics. I think all this sleeping I've been going through has done something to my ability to reason and deduce what is going on. Anyway, I am more now than ever into trying to figure this out. Can't wait for the next update. JEN
Oo-kay, now I'm as confused as Sesshoumaru is about this... JEN
headalphafemale (Chapter 31) - Tue 02 Aug 2011
Gee, wouldn't Inuyasha have liked to have been this close to his father? Sitting with him and talking with him. It is a shame this meeting wasn't on more pleasant terms. Did Sesshomaru really think he could out do his father in a battle? You would think that if his father came all the way back from the dead, it must be for some important reason. Sesshomaru sure is use to getting his own way. Of course, anyone would be freaked out by what his father watched happen priviately, rather odd method to use, even if needed. I hope getting rid of Naruku doesn't take too long, this kind of battle is often the same thing done again and again. Well, good luck with added chapters and Thanks!
Pay attention Sess....seems like there is way more to this than meets the eye and you will wish you had listened better. On another note, to see Kagome and no she does not remember your night together must be tough.
Paige (Chapter 31) - Tue 02 Aug 2011
I can't wait to know how Sesshomaru is going to react when he and Kagome meet again!
I look forward to the next update! :D

Finally, for some unknown reason, I haven't been able to leave a review and it just infuriates me to no end!
So, anyway, after reading all that Sesshoumaru felt, I have to agree with him and say he is justified in his anger with his father. Sesshoumaru may have hurt Kagome emotionally, but if InuPapa hadn't concocted this whole fiasco of a lesson, then Kagome wouldn't have been used to dispel the curse that Kumiko out on Sesshoumaru.
There had to be a better way to get his point across than to put Kagome and Sesshoumaru together in such life threatening manner. InuPapa knew that human woman were more sensitive and nurturing than youkai females. What is done is done though and for Sesshoumaru to try and fight his father is rather pointless. The old dog is already dead and therefore cannot be hurt, but the same can't be said for Sesshoumaru or Kagome.
So where this will all lead, well, you've got me pretty much stumped. I think InuPapa has to admit he was wrong and to defuse this hostility in Sesshoumaru before he pushes his son to totally lose control. If InuPapa knew his son like he says he does, than he should have seen this outcome as a possibly. Too bad Sesshoumaru can't do his sire any real harm because that dog needs to be put in his place. River (Chapter 29) - Thu 28 Jul 2011
You know, I have to agree with Sesshoumaru... what right did Inupapa have to bring Kagome into this lesson? She is the one who stands to sustain irreparable damage! She still experienced that pain even if she is strong enough to move on, or even if she and Sessh ride off into the sunset on a cloud of youki.
If he is trying to convince his son of the importance of love and emotion, callously using someone's loving nature as a tool while observing their most intimate moments like a lab rat isn't a great example of empathy or respect for other individuals. Way to go, doggy-dad.
Anyhow, maybe Sess should kick his Dad's a$$ and show him the errors of his ways (better yet, Kagome should purify his nuts!)
OK, that was fun, obviously I find this story way too engrossing and eagerly await the next installment.
Thanks for sharing!!
Paige (Chapter 29) - Thu 28 Jul 2011
Thank you for updating!
This is getting intense.
I bet he is going to allow Sesshomaru to smell her sadness next.
Sess is going to freak. :D
The question is....was it enough? Will Sess finally understand Kagome's hurt and shame? Thanks for the update!

Love this story, but wish there was more interaction between characters, a bit more dialog and less narrative would make it so much better than it already is. Plz update soon.
