Yay, so glad you're back and writing this great little fic.  I'm waiting to see the relationship build between the two as the little inu slowly draws them closer together.  The littlest matchmaker, right?  It's funny how the scent of another threw the pup into a tizzy.  It's like he's come to know Kagome as his mother.  So sweet.
