Er. Mah. GERD!!!!!! Holy Moley!! My dearest authoress leaves us with the dreaded CLIFFY OF DOOOOM! DOOM, I tell you!!!!! O.o Last night, just before I toddled off to bed, I was buoyed by the thought that InuYasha & Sango would save the day until Sesshy & Kags arrived to let them all know what a BIG mistake they'd made in attacking Edo. Now? How do I sleep wondering if our valiant duo is gonna make it through. I mean, I know 'Yasha is all buff and stuff, but he's not hanyou anymore!!! Will 'Roku fly on the wings of the phoenix & save the day? Will Sesshy take to his primal form and stomp a bunch of samurai that should know better?? I'm glad I only have to wait 'til tomorrow, but still. DOOOOOOM, srsly!!!!! You have honed your skill at keeping us all guessing and on our toes, that much is certain! Okay, you've made me abuse punctuation in a horrid fashion, so I will leave off until the next round of WORDS brings me either some relief or more DOOOOOM!

Ooooh! Exciting developments! I knew Miroku shouldn't have let those guards live! Now there's a war on their hands. I'm interested to see how you work in the historical figures and how things play out against the actual warring states period events. I like how Hojo Ujiyasu is seeing things clearly...he seems to understand what's really happening and not falling for the Emperors' call to arms. 

I'm assuming word will get to Kagome and she'll want to help protect Edo and her friends. Will Sesshomaru be reluctant to help defend the humans? Will Hoshihi have a role to play in this? She's been preparing for the time when yokai are no more...maybe she'll think this is the decisive moment and want to affect how things play out? 

Will Kagome go to Edo? and if so, will she leave behind Masamitsu (would it be safe to do so?)?

Will Miroku join the fight and will he feel conflicted fighting as a yokai? 

Arrgh! So many questions!!! 

Splendid and outstanding chapters.  Loving the moments of Miroku's rejection even as a handsome youkai!  He's still tied up into drama.  The shift over to the historical elements and preparation for a different kind of war was excellent.  It has me contemplating Kagome's role in all of this.  Great update!! :-)

Less of a oneshots collection and more of a chapter stories...but this is the first time someone actually add the human part of history into an Inuyasha's fanfiction...I'M LOVING IT!!

Seeing your updates make me so happy. I wonder if masamitsu is VB the first of his kind? I can't wait for the other nobles and Lords to see Kagome and Sesshomaru's  version of a hanyou, oh the chaos!!!

I kinda feel bad for Miroku, but then again I don't. That's what he gets for mating Hoshihikari. Oh, well. ONWARD!!
