I guess she realized that she´s in love with Sesshoumaru because she got jelaous of Airi´s interest in him. The first time she fell in love with Inuyasha it ended with a lot of heartache for her and Sesshoumaru is on a whole different level. A youkai Lord from the past who barely tolerates humans, no wonder she thinks she´s doomed.

I don't mind Airi. She and Kagome should know that its always the girl that doesn't fall for the guy that gets him. Guys like things they can't have and will always try and get the girl who doesn't want him. while that girl learns who he truly is and falls for him while he falls even slower for her. Wonder why Kagome ran off though. Her niceness has once again won somebody over. Oh well...I can't wait to see what happens next :)

I agree, rants can be therapeutic. :D I like how Airi noticed Sesshoumaru's attachment to Kagome. Hearing stories about the Lord of the West, Airi may have established of who he is supposed to be in her mind. A loner lord who wouldn't give humans the time of day. It must have been quite a surprise to see Sesshoumaru not only travelling with a human but a miko no less. And yeah, fawning over her too. :D I think I can understand some of Airi's motivations. She wants to one-up Kagome. Airi, I think, is not that good of a miko either. She's thinking more of how different she is from the others rather than being proud of who she is. Mikos of that era are of a proud lineage. Is she, by any chance, going to be Kagome's ancestor? Please say no. Lol!

I can see them being friends now. Betrayal can be more bittersweet. (I am still holding on to my theory that Airi is working for the dark miko). And yes, I still don't want to like her. Can't you just dump her in one of the villages needing a miko and leave her there? :P  I would be very grateful.

I guess Kagome just got lucky or maybe she is just BETTER. Envy is the green eyed monster. But I do like that Kagome is letting her rant and get it off her chest (even though it didn't seem like she had much of a choice). I wonder where they will be after this...will Airi feel a little better Kagome. Will Kagome's charm win her over like everybody else? I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Agreed on the rants, but according to psychology, doing that sometimes makes people brood even more on the past ^-^; I guess I can sympathize what Airi went through, but still, to even TRY and steal Sessh's from Kag? Unforgivable!

Rants can be quite therapeutic! :) this chapter makes me feel bad for Airi... ha XD oh that's funny... Airi sees things Kagome doesn't... XD haha love it! :) can't wait to read more!

I just could not stop reading!  >.<  And since your story is so awesome, I thought it only fair reiterate what I am sure people have already told you before!  =D  I will definitely try to review more of your chapters as the come out.  ^.^  Also, I totally appreciate that you are a Bones fan as well!

Let me guess, Airi will turn out to be a nice character in the end and then she will meet Inuyasha and he will fall in love with her. That´s what always happens with OC and after Kikyou is gone. I just hope I´m wrong because I hate that overused cliché. Inuyasha needs alone time to mourn and heal and to grow on his own.

I like the mystery of Airi being slowly reveled to us. I wonder though if she had such a hard time and doesn't like Kagome since she didn't, why is she being so nice to Sesshoumaru. Esp since he would not even pay attention to her (to even call her a witch). Also I wonder where this is taking us. How will the Airi arc play out and what does that mean for our heroine, maiden, and priestess Kagome? I like the emotion that you can feel from both characters in such a short amount of space. I can't wait to see what happens next (and how Airi will feel when Sesshoumaru takes Kagome's side) :)

Are we supposed to empathize with Airi now? I don't want to like her! Lol! Although I can see where her jealousy comes from. I mean, here she is, probably dodging witch trials in Europe for the last few years while Kagome is revered in Japan as a beloved miko. Not only that, the hottest taiyoukai she may have met is also enamored with Kagome.

Hating Airi would be easier! I already have this theory that she's in cahoots with the dark miko. Well, maybe it's too early to completely discard that theory. I am still wary of her. Bottomline is, she has no business liking Sesshoumaru! Hahaha!

Poor Airi. Maybe if she defeated Naraku... or maybe is she traveled with the late son of the West... or maybe if she found a young kit... or a lecherous monk... or though Slayer and Cat Neko... Maybe... well, who knows :)

I definately sympathize with Airi, but maybe she hasn't considered that maybe she's bit of a bitch? Idk just sayin'! She actually really is kinda annoying.
