two words: LOVED IT!!!!

Oh, man. I didn't realize you wrote Bloodlust on FF. I have the same criticism for this story that I had for that one. The opening chapters were too stylized for my taste. As if you wrote them to be stilted on purpose with choppy dialog and half explanations. Then I saw that you wrote poems for the story and i thought, 'oh... great' lol. That's not to say that the beginning of the story was bad. Far from it, just not my taste.

HOWEVER, as soon as you allowed the characters to open  up, so did your writing - and it was gorgeous. I loved the last 10 or so chapters because the reader was able to understand the story completely without having to fill in blanks along with the character. I also thought it was amazing that we saw Sesshoumaru's POV as well. It's rare, but it was done so well here. The citrus was tastefully

Anyway, Lyra, girl... YOU DID THAT with this story. I hope you come back some day to complete Bloodlust. And for the people who are rightfully pissed about her stories having less reviews here, check her out on FF 'lyrainthedark' and spam review her stories. Let's get her to come back!!

idk... it still seems strange that Kagome keeps saying 'she was just a human girl.' That doesn't sound like a thought she would have, especially after seeing Sesshou hold a dead Rin in his arms. Just... strange and slightly off-character for a bleeding heart like Kagome.

I know Kagome's question is connected to Sesshoumaru's pain, but I'm still irritated that she's asking such a silly question. Of course Rin is dead. She was human just like Sango and Miroku, so Kago's insistent question is baffling.

Wonderful, amazing story! I love the detail and depth of your characters and the emotions involved. I hope you have continued to write in some way in your life!

Literally the best SessKag story I've ever read. Like...wow.

That was fantastic. The emotions were so wonderfully written that I had to read this over several days / reading sessions; some cut pretty close to home (though, fortunately, not for the same reasons). The characters also remained much more "in character" than I tend to expect. Very well done.

I've read this story before on different sites and I could be wrong but it seems as if each of the versions seems to be a bit different. There are also some things I find confusing but regardless...I love this story.

Many times while reading your story I felt as if it was a poem rather than a tale. So beautiful, elegant, colorful, passionate and full of magic that it was a true joy!

Wow this story was amazing. The feelings were so real and tangible that i couldn't help but feel both happy and sad for them. I'm glad Shippo made it though, and that you gave Sesshomaru a little girl so much like his Rin. Awesome job!!!

Wow. You DO do epics well! Wow. Ok. I know I need to say more than this. But, I can't so... Wow. 

Alright, I'm good now. I've never read a story that was chapterized (word?) like yours. At the beginning it was kind of like his side, then hers, back and forth. But as the story developed, it grew past that and basically continued the story. Your ability to switch perspectives without losing the flow and style of the story was awesome. And the plot itself was unique in a sense. Yes, there's a few fics out there about Sess and Kag being the only ones left and how they continue on, blah blah, but yours had a unique edge and darker side, giving it that extra oomph. Just, really, though, terrific story and a total breath of fresh air. A tantalizing breath, by the way!
