Awww :( It must have been scary for Kagome-mommy to hear that. I have no idea why Kagome would say something like that, but at the same time, maybe she wanted to make it less painful for her mother.

THis chapter is deeper than it seems to be, and I like it that you acknowledged that Kagome kinda took her mom for granted because the latter had been there the whole time. It happens, doesn't it? Humans always treasure what they don't have the most.

Once again, beautiful chapter.

It's sweet that she got to go back and see how they were like in the past!

Well Technically... she doesn't know HIM -she only knows OF him... but hey, with that kind of shock who'd be thinking Details right now IN that situation. I can't blame Kagome for not being entirely correct.

ohmyGosh! What if Kagome basically tells Jinn what he's going to do to Sesshomaru in India?!? What if... what if she gives Jinn the perfect setup? I can so totally see her going off on him and venting the whole story as Sesshomaru told it to her.

Now I'm wondering... if Jinn knew the Whole story, and that Sesshomaru would kill him after he was freed... would he still choose to do it? I'm going to say yes, and because he has had enough of life completely. The ultimate freesom in his case.

So it seems not someone quite a friend to Kagome, but still clearly someone that knows her. I wonder where this will go. I mean he is offering her a wish...? Though then why would he go through the trouble of coming to get the lamp. and I wonder when Sesshoumaru, the genie one from the future, will make an apperance. It seems like things are heading towards quite the event. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Please tell me this is not another wish giver that will cause additional trouble! Gasps... but this is not really looking good for kagome. With her record, she will probably do something she will regret... again...
