I had initially expected this story to be hilarious with all the things that could go wrong with a genie-in-a-lamp, but this chapter proved me wrong when you introduced the first hint of melancholy and helplessness to it. Nice job there, Luna, it's definitely got me hooked! And drabbles are easier to read in comparison to huge ol' chunks of text, so I am enjoying this very much indeed.

And that marks the beginning of all the drama! I'd love to have one of those lamps if they came with a Sesshoumaru inside. XD

Oh no...just as they were about to hit his breakthrough. So the lamp was in the past and someone else has found it. I wonder if Kagome can get the lamp back does she still get the rest of her wishes? It would be such a sad parting, but Im sure that Kagome will not allow that to happen. I can't wait to see how Kagome claims what is her's back for next time :)

Oh poor Sesshoumaru. You have made him quite human in these last few chapters. He is afraid of being left alone so he rather be loney and not know the joy of being with someone he loves. I am sure that Mama Higurashi can straighen him out and set him on the right path. Hopefully Kagome and Miroku in the past can find the lamp before something bad happens and changes the furture yet to come. If the future is set in stone, and Sesshoumaru knew he would be imprisoned regardless might as well have a nice memory to accompy him through the years, then I hope that it is a good one for the both of them. The wisdom of Mirkou is astounding, as is Kagome's character. I can't wait to see what happens next for both the past and the future, and even the future that is still yet to come :)

Wow didn't Sesshomaru get screwed over! Ahah. Ya know he's supposed to be all smart and all but something he thinks he's too on top of everyone. He should learn to trust people less than that ahah. I'm afraid someone will steal it!

I think at this point he doesn't want to admit he wants to stay with her, so he just sticks with his excuse that she is the less worse "master" (even if he hates that word) that he's got lol. OH SESSHY STOP BEING ALL CUTE.

This Sesshomaru that does not mope must be wishing for freedom. It's sad really. He was always on top, nobody to beat him down now he has to spend his life being slave to someone, not his own master anymore. It must be killing him.

Once again, you bring the sad back. They were never a we. He's not a bad guy really, just confuse. It's so sad. You know, Inuyasha is really sweet. He must be scared to know he's gonna die, but he sees how Kagome blames herself for everything and he does his best to make her feel better. He's not always a jerk.

I really like that Kagome is seeking advice from Miroku. It's different but it makes sense. I mean he is the oldest in their group and even though he's an hentai he is a monk. I mean they are kinda close right?

Upon re-reading from the beginning I have answered my own questions on Sesshomaru's day with Kagome's father. In jumping stories I had forgotten about her wish to be a child completely. On top of that forgetting this was a more linear time-hopping piece and that everything that was happening Had happened already no matter the Time order we saw them in as we watch through Kagome's daily timeline.

I'm also thinking that Kagome left her lamp on the 'future/present' side of the well, not on the Warring States side. How else would Sesshomaru be there to be speaking with her mother? If he was tied to the lamp and the lamp was in the 'past' such a thing would be impossible.

Amazing what I can figure out when I'm not reading half-asleep. ;)

Now I am wondering what the reason is, that Sesshomaru is reluctant to voice.
