I have followed this story for years, I am so glad you are still updating as the plot has always been so great; I love both the obvious and the underlying tension you have created between all of the characters. Amazing work! 

I sometimes hate when Sesshomaru is potrayed like this but it's fitting in a sense, I still can't get over how he marked Kagms something so below her. And yet there is Ai and his plan, and what he truly desires. I hope you update soon.

Happy to see the update! I've always puzzled over two things. That Sesshomaru can detect certain emotions through aura or smell but not a lie or unease when someone is being manipulative like Kagura? Also it seems odd that Sesshomaru at some point wouldn't confront the cheating directly and immediately. It seems like this Sesshomaru would do it as soon as possible to flaunt that someone could not get away with that and he would then torment them with it. I know he has never had a relationship like this before, but that doesn't feel like that would stop him just make him more vicious in the confrontation. I know Miroku and Sango had goood intentions, but....  I don't know.

I'm glad to see this being polished up. Chapter three has a reference to Sesshoumaru and Kagome growing up in modern day era while everything else indicates he is centuries old. Using find will lead you to it easily. Keep up the fabulous story telling.

Goshhhhh i hate Sesshoumaru i hate Ai i hate kagura at this point i wish i hope ahe just ends up with Kouga or some unknown human....  These two definitely don't deserve her and never will even if it was just a plot Sesshoumaru should have trusted her and Ai you like her you are guilty but still you are gonna use her and then make everything all right wowwww such a gentle man you are  -_- maybe kagome should purify both of them and make human would be better ending .....  ^_^ thankew for updating please update sooooooonnnnn i just want to seee kago happy as sooon as possible  <3

I feel so badly for Kagome. For Ai to have hurt her and betray her like that and to be using her.....there's only so much a person can take before they are broken beyond repair. I wonder how Sesshomaru will feel when he realizes he was so easily played by his own cousin and a whore. On one hand I want Sesshomaru to suffer ten times more then Kagome but on the other....how much can Kagome take before she ends her life or just breaks inside?

I'm really confused about this fic. I startd from the beginning feeling game for almost anything but I'm really having trouble swallowing this.  Sesshoumaru is right in character, but Kagome is totally OC. She is dispicibaly weak. I read reviews and even as far as chapter 6 she still seems to need to grow a spine. I don't get it. I get that you should hate Sesshoumaru for his treatment of her, but I find myself despising Kagome more. She is nothing like the plucky, heroine that strives to find good in everyone and is almost stupidly reckless in her bravery. I still haven't gotten to the point where I figure out what has happened to her to make her everyone's doormat, but I'm not sure after three chapters I have the patience for it. If it turns out she has been crushed by something utterly tragic I guess I could see the drastic change in her personality. I don't know why being dumped by the love of her life would change her character so much considering how many times she's been jilted by Inuyasha in the Manga and anime. I actually love the characterization of Sesshoumaru.  It is right on target. You done a fantastic job with it. It's why I've stuck with it so far. Sesshoumaru is the type of being that would accept no one less than an equal. Kagome is definitely not worthy at this point.

It willl be funny if both Sesshomaru and Kagome find out what both Ai and Kagura at his coronation, and Kagome don't forgive with Sesshomaru and Ai
