Hello lover (Chapter 21) - Mon 18 Apr 2011

lara (Chapter 20) - Mon 18 Apr 2011

That was great. I can't wait to see what will happen next. Was the 1 week seperation really for them to reflect & think ?? I guess it makes sense when you are considering tying yourself to someone forever. I'm dying to know if, when he called his Sire to complain about meeting Kagome behind his back, he told his Sire what was going on & what they'd decided & what his Sire had to say about the girl to Sessh ?? I'm also dying to know ,since he went so far as to have them seperate for a week, if he's told her all the info & dangers in doing this 'Promise' act .I'm also dying to know if this 'Promise' is what his Sire was so afraid of when they spoke on the phone that day. They never said what it was & you haven't mentioned yet what it was they were talking about that his Sire was so upset & afraid ,that he attempted to tell Sessh over the phone that he wasn't allowed to try it. I also hope you tell us what the difference is between the act of  'the Promise' & marking someone as your Mate & if both or either will extend her life to his  & if her being a Miko would make it impossible either way...I'm so terrified that just because she's a Miko they won't be able to be together or he'll have to watch her get old & die soon.

I look forward to the next chapter as I'm dying to see what happens next.

roxyzigzag (Chapter 20) - Mon 18 Apr 2011

I LOVE IT SO FAR!!!!!!! cant wait for more!!!!

SilentlyFuming (Chapter 20) - Sun 17 Apr 2011

goodness, you just love sticking in a plethora of emotions into one chapter don't you?  but I suppose I did enjoy the fact that their conversation started so badly (more accusing of explicit activities on Kagome's part, which tweaked me a bit) but then ended in a smutty-happiness  X3  can't wait for another update

Kimi Rain Matsu (Chapter 20) - Sun 17 Apr 2011

I love this story so much. I wait patiently for the next chapter.

lara (Chapter 19) - Fri 15 Apr 2011

I was so excited to see 2 updates.I love this story. It's different & you never know what to expect or what'll happen next. It was great that his Sire wanted to meet her & hysterical when he told her horror stories from Sessh's youth.Stuff you don't want anyone, especially the one you love to know. Now that his Sire knows Kagome & Sessh love each other I hope he'll try to meet her family, parents or (possibly) future in-laws. I'm 95% sure they're dead but,not positive as in the story there's no info given on her family or background.

Sessh says she's a powerful Miko & she said she'd promised she'd only use her Miko powers in a life or death situation. She never mentioned who she promised but, it'd seem the promise was to someone important, like family. She's odd in the way that(even Sessh pointed this out)it's as if she intentionally hides the fact she's a Miko & her response is she thinks it'd cause her more issues with the youkai students(seeing her as a threat?). It seems bizarre that,Miko's are the natural enemy of youkai, yet she appears comfortable surrounded by youkai & fallen in love with the most powerful one, a Dai youkai & he & his 'inner beast' have chosen her as 'the one' to be 'their' future Mate.(they're in love with each other) Is the youkai's 'inner beast' their instinctual side, that comes out when the youkai's in danger(life threatening) but does it also come out when it finds 'the one'(their soul mate),the one whom is best for them in every way & to bear the strongest, most powerful pups or is it just an inner 'Beast' that's impulsive, violent, irrational & would choose anyone they could rut ,be rough with & satisfy the primal needs, with no care for what's right or wrong for the entire being? Is it the part that goes on instinct to find their mate by senses the logical side may not be aware of,while not caring about or fooled by superficial things? I know Sessh is having problems controling this primal part of himself, Sessh said it's until he marks or binds Kagome to them so that part of him is appeased. When Sessh & his Sire spoke about her & Sessh told him she's 'the one' & his Dad was upset about what Sessh said he wanted to do so that her lifespan wouldn't be a problem. His Sire felt if Sessh did what he wanted it could kill Sessh &/or both of them but, when his Sire spoke to Kagome he didn't mention any of this & even said he felt they'd be together. What's confusing is when he & his Sire were talking about the fact that Sessh was aware that Kagome was 'the one' for him & his Sire said  “Well, I guess that there is the question of whether or not you intend to officially claim her then. I must caution you that such is only as binding as the two of you make; just because you announce your claim does not mean that things are concrete, things can still go wrong.” Sessh & his Sire got into an argument as his Sire seemed to be telling him that there is no other option with Kagome being Miko..but both he & his father didn't say what is was, whether the danger & fear his Sire was against was it in regards to Sessh wanting claim her & mark her as his 'Mate' or was it the idea that Sessh was considering 'the Promise' ?? Will it extend her life to his if he marks her as his Mate ? From what Sessh said 'the Promise' also includes her being marked, but not as his Mate but as his intended until they're ready to be Mated. This started with the discussion of how to extend her life so I'm confused if that means that even if he were to mark her as his Mate, because she's a Miko would she still have the lifespan of a human & die very soon compared to Sessh's lifespan? What's the difference in danger between 'the Promise' & being mated?Other than, from what I understand, when 2 become mated their aura & powers combine, binding them together for life & 'the Promise' is where the male uses his power & aura to cocoon the females for a period of time.

I know I've written a long review & I probably shouldn't ask but, since we don't know anything really about Kagome's family or background, could she be more than just a powerful Miko? Her age isn't given so we can't ask if she's an other being that has to come of age. I just hate to see her or them die. I'm really sorry this review is so long & if I've asked offensive questions I hope if I've upset the writer by this that they'll msg me & I'll not do it again as I love & enjoy the story & writing very much & the last thing I'd want to do is offend anyone. I love this story very much & I just hope for a happy ending where they can live & be together for a long time.

I eagerly await the next chapter as this one seemed to end on a cliffy,I know he's waiting for her response on her willingness to do 'the Promise' & she's wants more info about the risks. I'm all nervous like a kid.

Tana_san (Chapter 19) - Thu 14 Apr 2011

I just knew he wouldn't have liked the idea of Kagome seeing his father without him. But, in all honesty, I think that if Kagome had turned his father down, it wouldn't have worked anyway. He wanted to meet her now and knowing his son, he wouldn't be meeting her anytime soon, so he would no doubt take it upon himself to find her and introduce himself. Like his son, InuPapa does not like taking no for an answer.

I also figured that Kagome couldn't resist telling him she knew about the prom incident. That arguement was quite amusing to me. There was no way Kagome could make Sesshoumaru believe he was wrong for holding interviews for a date. You'd think she'd know by now that arguing with him is futile and really, a waste of time. I wonder if she secretly just enjoys the verbal sparring.

The whole discussing of the Promise? I would have come to the very same conclusions as Kagome was. He had this way of making me feel as confused as she was and questions? I'd think wanting to know if death was a possibly was an excellent one to begin with. Now, I understand what Sesshoumaru was saying about not wanting to be mated right now, but since they both know this is where the relationship will lead, why not just mate now and live on campus like alot of couples do? Would it change anything? Or is this promise something that can possibly be broken later, though I got the impression for Sesshoumaru, that was not an option for him? Oh yeah, here I am again asking questions you'll answer sooner or later, but then again, you know you love it when I do this.

Well, I have to go for now, until the next time....   JEN

Midnight Lover (Chapter 19) - Thu 14 Apr 2011

TruGemini (Chapter 19) - Wed 13 Apr 2011

Wow! And so we await her decision. That is a huge decision to make, and she would have to definitely face her insecurities before commiting to said promise. Hopefully it will turn out okay.

TruGemini (Chapter 18) - Wed 13 Apr 2011

LOL! Poor Sess! I would have a twitch too if I found out my Dad or Mom talked to the one I was with. That whole Sire Must Die thing would be a scrolling marquee in my head. LOL!

SilentlyFuming (Chapter 18) - Wed 13 Apr 2011

:0  is that last line supposed to mean he thought her argument had no point?  o.0

XDDD

Tana_san (Chapter 17) - Wed 13 Apr 2011

InuPapa should take a lesson from Sesshoumaru, do NOT talk about past events that will be considered embarrassing or a threat to your own life if revealed to others. (especially the one your son has a strong interest in) He should have known that Sessh wouldn't tell anyone, let alone Kagome, a girl he's serious about. But the cat is out of the bag, or shall I say the inu's muzzle?

I'm wondering if Kagome will tell Sesshoumaru what his father said about his past experiences, or if she'll glaze over their conversation so the peace will be kept between father and son? Time will tell, ne?

I definitely know Sesshoumaru isn't going to be none too happy that InuPapa decided to come and have a nice, leisurely lunch with his female and more than likely was just trying to butt into his life where he wasn't needed or wanted right now...   JEN

Midnight Sun (Chapter 17) - Tue 12 Apr 2011

Chibi Lover (Chapter 17) - Tue 12 Apr 2011

lara (Chapter 17) - Mon 11 Apr 2011

Update soon please..This story is great. I've been worrying that Sessh's dad would want to meet Kagome only to try to interfere or stop their relationship. I know over the phone he felt terrified that Sessh was going to do something risky in extending her life as long as his own. I personally love Sessh & Kagome together. Imagine the fear involved regarding the mere thought of falling in love with a being, wanting to spend your life with them & find out they'll die very shortly & know there is nothing you can do. I'd not wish that on my worst enemy so I've been hoping & praying that upon meeting Kagome his Dad would know  or feel something about her that his son, being young, couldn't or wouldn't know .Since we seem to know so little about Kagome, her family & background I've been praying that there is more to who or what she is than a human miko who refuses tu use her power. Something that would make it so it either didn't hurt them to extend her life to his or something where she isn't really human & will live as long as him, like who or whatever she is could be hidden under a Miko spell,if she were a rare, powerful being.(I'm not young & still suffer the loss of my 1st love)

I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter.

TruGemini (Chapter 17) - Mon 11 Apr 2011

LOL!!! An audition for prom??!! Oro that was hilarious! With how Kagome is I could picture in my mind those touch and go moments whil convering with InuPapa, but I'm glad that they were able to settle things peacefully and have a great afternoon.

Kimi Rain Matsu (Chapter 17) - Sun 10 Apr 2011

I think I almost died when I read about the auditions....really?! But then again the personality that you have written for Sesshoumaru allows me to actually picture him doing just that. I really love this story. Can't wait for the next chapter.
