Wow..I loved reading Sess being protrayed that way, on his knee and putting a ring on...I have not read that anywhere before,and it was just so awesome!

Another wonderful chapter. That ring was described beautifully. Sess seems to always give kisses that will make you forget your name if ou let it. I am glad the courtship is starting.

Hi Hun!!! Glad to have you back...you've been missed! I was a little confused at the end with the bypassing of the banquet, but I understand it now. I had to read it over again. Loved the whole Shippo Higurashi naming. That was a good thing. Since we often portray him as her son, why not?

The beginning of the physical romance. I love the flirting and playfulness. What a wonderful chapter!

Love it!  I had to laugh at the end of Chap. 25.  His reaction brings to mind the same one on the face of my boyfriend and your story reminds me of ours.  I have known him since highschool when I dated his 3rd cousin, heck when i graduated we even lived together but the both of us were too chicken to tell the other how much we liked each other in fear of losing the other friendship.  13 years later of spiraticly staying in touch; an ex-husband and twins for me, and wars in two countries for him; and we ran into each other.

A few texts and some movies at my place later and I finally got the courage to give him an honest kiss before he left one night.  The joyous shock on his face was priceless.  Months later he confessed that he hadn't remembered the drive home to his place and was still touching his lips in shock when he woke the next day.  For my part I had giggled like a goofy little teenager whenever I thought about it.

He bought a stone dolphin on his first tour with the army because it reminded him of me.  That was 10 years ago.  He has carried that thing around with him through two wars as his lucky charm and never let it out of his sight.  He finally gave it to me and everytime I look at it I wonder what made us wait so long and I remember that first nervous kiss.  That was two years ago and still going! :) 

Your story has a fantastic fun and serious side that I love.  A lot like real life with enough fantasy to keep me glued.  Thanks for sharing your gift! -Roughewn

I liked this. It's moving at a good pace and doesn't seem to be rushed at all. She was finally able to let go and is now ready to move on. We don't expect her to just be ready to jump him that quickly. I think you did a great job!
