Hmm, this is interesting so far.  The way you decsribed Sesshoumaru was very vivid.  I can completely picture him standing there, indignant yet weary.  I particulary like Kagome's reaction as well.  To suddenly be filled with compassion despite being in a potentially dangerous situation is very Kagome-like indeed.  Great start!  I hope you keep going.  Kepp up the good work!

Oh my... what a gut wrenching scene.Beautifully written. Great work! The first chapter alone brings up so many questions, gives such key important information which the story is going to be based on... I love it. I can't wait to find out how this changes Kagom's view, how the conversation turns out, what has happened to get sesshoumaru the way he is, whether sesshoumaru is stuck in this lifestyle or refuses to change his lifestyle, or maybe he refused to change before and now it is too late. His appearance alone shows that he has encountered many difficulties and.... oh boy. Or even what happened to his retainers. Did jaken survive? Is he the last youkai left? If Kagome ends up changing history, what will happen?.......Anyways, I just mean that I am very eager to read your next chapter. (XD I have found a new diamond in the rough, a story to continue reading)
