Does the brand just increase one's powers or is it a completely new power given? I do like that we get to see Kagome coming into them, as painful as it might be. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Interesting plot!  

One issue I haven't figured out yet: Inuyasha seems to be pretty apathetic toward Kikyou and paying a lot of attention to Kagome... not that I don't think the whole thoughtlessly ignoring Kagome whenever Kikyou shows up is over exaggerated in many stories, but was he OK with Kikyou being destroyed by the spell, did he think Kikyou would be able to wield the power and survive, or was he planning on both of them dying and going to hell together?

So far, Kikyou seems pretty incidental.  Maybe the explanation will be revealed as the story unfolds?

I like the story, it is interesting he is training her in pain management that took him years or even decades to learn to stop Naraku,since he is so impatient, she is human not youkai and even he had difficulty learning the method he teaches!

I've certainly never seen anything quite like this before. Very interesting. Your character portrayals so far have been quite good, but I have to wonder what happened to the rest of Sesshomaru's group, as well as Shippo and Kirara. It seems odd not to mention them.

But I'm nitpicking. Your writing style and descriptions are enjoyable and I look forward to seeing more.
