What does this mean? He is terribly sorry? Will it be news of Inuyasha?

Perhaps, 'good news' that to the sorrow of all 'concerned' that Inuyasha has perished in the front lines?

Or does this mean that Inuyasha has been injured too harshly to continue at the front lines and has been transported back to Ashford?

I am curious, and very worried. Because either way, it will be trouble. Trouble in that Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's father will probably lash out in his grief, or that with Inuyasha back, it will continue to cause terrible trouble for Kagome and the others.

Excuse my profanity but.......MOTHER EFF, WHY?! Why there?! AAAAAAHHH!!!! Why stop it there?! Damn you!!!

I love this story! I was actually picturing all the World War movies and images as the story progressed and I was even remembering the events on those dates.....not on all of them but whenever I found a date familiar, lol. 

you are first completely brilliant because this chapter is just wonderful, as usual, though i'm confused about what on earth kagome's mother might have against sesshomaru

second you are so evil to leave us hanging like that! gah! i thought cliffhangers in other fics drove me nuts, this one is going to send me completely around the bend!

I'm a silly young girl that thought it would be cute to write a review in the form of one of your letters that Sesshoumaru and Kagome send to one another. I adore this story more than I have adored one in a very long while. It's very well written though some of the words are more modern slang then words back then it is still very entertaining. It's so cute and I can't help but itch for another update soon! Sesshoumaru is very well in character and Kagome is just too perfect words.

I know I've already tried to express how much I love this story, but with each new chapter, I find more and more to love.  The way you're parceling out the relationship and the development of same, the way events are happening in concert with the way the war went back then, the little historical tidbits you toss in... they are all so very, VERY well done!  It's after 2am here, but I HAD to read this latest chapter before finally succumbing to my headache and toddling off to bed.  I doubt I'll sleep a wink all night, though - or if I do, I'll be having nightmares about what horrible thing Sesshoumaru could be sorry for.

Eh, I know that it's in an author's nature to shock the audience on occasion, so I'll cheerfully put up with a relatively sleepless night, just for the chance that you might update somewhat sooner (through guilt, maybe?).  Yes, I'm not above trying to guilt trip my beloved authors into updating!!  All is good, though, as I was wondering where you'd been of late, and hoping to see something from you soon.  Many thanks for all the time and effort you put into this story - and for so freely sharing all this goodness with us!

i LOVES this! "truly yours!" so sweet! ^_^ this just makes me happy, now they kinda are officially courting in a way, or dancing around it. I suppose the next natural state might be letters to advise one another what they are like again, in more then a friendly way. not intimate, but more then friendly. or perhaps fond memories, dreams for the future, best memories and what not. but this is just lovely! you could also have something happen to the baron! lord knows someone needs to light a literal fire under his butt!
