This story is amazing. I love history and your depiction of WWII through these letters is really touching. It was such an emitional time. The way that you depict the Inuyasha characters, although it is funny to consider them being British, is very good and I loved reading this story. Gawd I hate when these chapters end. They always seem to leave you hanging just enough to make you squirm. I'm sure it's not done on purpose though. -snorts- <.< I am eagerly awaiting Inuyasha's comeuppance too. The rotten bastard. Please update soon!

awe *sad face* THOUGH, i wonder, i jsut read up a little on glenn miller, i'm wonderingif your forshadowing, his death a bit by mention of this, same year, later down the road... either way, i wanted to say that Elvis, is your saying presley was only like 9 at this time frame, Count Basie, Cab Calloway, Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Fletcher Henderson, Earl Hines, and Artie Shaw. they would be good Sub's for Elvis, if that's what you meant, 'rock n roll' as it was startinging didnt really kick in until after WW2, and it was based from Jazz->Swing ^_^

i loved this! though Stupid inuyasha seriously i hope something miserable happens to him. and that papa's NEVER happy, so that he can feel what it would have been like to not be accepted into Sesshomaru's life. I really REALLY want something horrible to happen to thme both >:l

I like your story, a lot. It reminds me of my granny's sister, a "bride of the war": like other girls, she began to write letters to a soldier in battle and in the end they got married. Your fiction is not so far from reality :)

I've been reading everything recently, only finished reading about two days before Chapter 20 was posted.

I have to admit, at the end of chapter 19 I would have thought that it was Kagome's mother that something had happened too. Never would have thought that it would be Miroku. Personally, I hope that Inuyasha gets ripped appart by an MG42 at the Normady Beaches, seeing as he's british in this fic, that would either be Sword, Gold or Juno Beach.

Anyways, overall the fanfic is quite nice (Course that would be the case or I wouldn't have read it up until this point but anyways). Sesshomaru, dispite being human, comes across as the same heartless demon he's always been with a small change in his emotions to make the SessXKag pairing fly. Inuyasha being a dick (if you'll excuse the language) also fits him just fine, I gotta admit that I always hated his two timing ass in the Series.

As for Sango I dunno what to think really, I would have imagioned her as a secretary of sorts but a her working in a Bakery seems to fit quite well. And Kagome as a tailor fits quite perfectly given her kind nature. I'm a little surpiced that there hasn't been mention of her patching up a Hole in Rin's dress given her playfull nature.

BTW: On what kind of basis do you update? weekly? Monthly?
