I finally mustered up the nerve to read this. I'm very glad I did. I almost stopped at a couple places, but...wow...though i got quite scared at the bloody blowjobs and the thigh-raking, it was the Sesshoumaru's choice that really set the chills in me. I thought for a second that he was going to save her and you had been kidding about it being a tragedy...but..well.

In retrospect, can't really call it a tragedy, either. she was so far gone that this was the happiest ending he could give her, I suppose. It scares me more that Sesshoumaru too couldn't find another way out. Iguess..in the end, I will call it extremely effective psychological and physical horror. ::will forever be cringing everytime some hot and heavy smut mentions the heroins nails raking down her lover's back::will also be cringing everytime Kagome has a hanyou some in a story::

That hint of future incest was...diabolically done, and also the best words of your story. It's uncanny how you read past it, dismissing it as the reason for her insanity and obsession, and all the time it's subtly worming into your brain, and waiting for you to discover it's there. And then you do, and the horror hits you twice as large and looming. I'm glad he kills her. It was the truest act of kindness he'll ever do, I guess.

Ehm. Yeah. You already know that I liked it. I especially liked the part in the middle when you went back and forth between Sesshoumaru in the "dream" and Kagome in reality and the ending where you left it vague - in a sense. Yay for crazy Kagome!
