I'm glad her life has been extended so Sesshoumaru won't lose her like he did Rin.

You didn't say, but it almost sounds like something extra bad happened besides a car accident, such as her mother and brother getting killed or some physical handicap for her to overcome.  But if her life was extended, then her healing powers should be able to keep her healthy and eventually mend anything wrong with her body.
