twice in this chapter you mentioned or basically said that the child was a hanyou ---first you said that when Toshihiro jumped Inuyasha ,his uncle , that they were a rolling pile of hanyou........& then the second time you called the boy a hanyou you said as the 2 uncles were taken to their rooms they were foloowed by a young hanyou

in the last chapter of the story before this one when the child was born he was described as looking exactly like Sessh with markings & crest & ears with no signs of being hanyou & you never told us what he was...whether he was or not  

I have read stories before that say only Powerful Miko's like Kagome or Midoriko could birth full youkai pups or even stronger pups that were full youkai with Miko immunities or full youkai pups that would be considered Miko Youkai because they had full powers of boths

I was wrong in Ch.3 in the hotsprings she tells Sessh about the jewel making her immortal & he realizes that it changed her in more ways than just giving her immortality....& he thinks but doesn't say or tell her........that it must be why their pup is NOT HANYOU & IS FULL INU YOUKAI/INU TAI YOUKAI    but you still haven't told us if he also has miko powers or miko immunities ......either way it would make him extremely powerful....to be immune to miko power would make him stronger but if he had full miko powers & abilities & full Inu Tai youkai powers & abilities he would extremely powerful & almost unstoppable

am I right???    & when he said she was ripe does that mean she is fertile to get knocked up again so they can work on pups again???????? I would love to see them have twins or triplets like a litter.......any birth with more than 1 pup would be perfect for me & even better if she had like twin boys & a girl & I really hope they are all either full youkai or full miko youkai

but what did he mean by saying this information requires further thought?? he should have said this information changes nothing,you are mate,always will be my mate & you will always belong to me as I belong to you. He should have made it more definite & clear. To me it seemed like he was saying that now that I know this information I need to think but you will always belong to me.......as if with this info he may consider if he wants other women or a youkai mate. plus after 50 yrs everyone under his rule should know of her as the Lady of the Western Lands or it should be common knowledge that there is both a Lord & Lady of the Western Lands.

I read this story & the one that came before it & I enjoyed them both I tried to leave reviews for the first story & the site or my pc or the net would not allow me to leave reviews I tried to leave them for this story &  it took many tries till I was finally allowed. I would like to know why if he has a Mate that is both powerful  & immortal as he is & is able to birth full blooded inu youkai pups , an heir that is a full blooded Inu youkai ,that everyone & anyone that knows of the Lord of the West how can they be unaware that there is a Lady of the West  & that he has been mated to her for over 50 years. Would this not have been something that was announced ??? I mean all these things. His Mating to the Shikon Miko, her being named the Lady of the West & the birth of his Heir (a full blooded inu youkai who must have some holy powers or immunity to holy powers?)  & after all this time if it has not been made public knowledge perhaps it should. I am surprised that after 50 years of being Mated someone would have the balls to enter his territory & home & say what  he did....to ask for his protection in exchange for youkai's he has on his land, offer them to him, ask him if he would be interested in them for concubines or Mating & then offer to take the human who he is obviously involved with off of his hands for him. I liked how Sessh had physically attacked him although I can't help but wonder why Sessh did not question him on how he could come to him for help,stare at his Mate,insult his Mate of over 50yrs & then proceed to make those ludicrous offers the last one being that he would take his long time mate from him as a favour.

            I think that the reason she feels unsure now is because he didn't react to the insult to her from that man & that after hearing she would live as long as he & why ....maybe she was thinking he was happy with her because he had always thought of her as being merely temporary...if that is why I think that should be cleared up. When she told him of the jewel & what she knew he said he had to think on things what did that mean???? does he realize that if he doesn't clarify with her that his feelings for her ,his desire to stay mated to her &etc that he could lose her. when he died that time he told her while he was dying that he saved her because if she hadn't survived he would not be able to live without her & when she brought him back she told him she also could not live without him.

those vows between the 2 need to be renewed & they need to improve their communication skills
