MissTeak (Chapter 3) - Fri 03 Sep 2010

OMG I am a class A retard. I clicked 'leave review' with the intent to cast my vote (which is a gargantuan YES) and I ended up going on and on about the story. LOL.

OK.

Now you know it.

More stories from Siki based off mythology?

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.

You totally got spammed, my lady! XD

MissTeak (Chapter 3) - Fri 03 Sep 2010

*wipes tears* No happy ending?? *lower lip quivers*

"Starry, starry night~ Paint your palette blue and gray~"

OK. I'd better stop singing before you think I've gone abso-friggin'-lutely bonkers. LOL! I loved this final chapter even though it was sooooo angsty (I've concluded that it's not quite an official word but you get what I mean) and they had to be separated after surviving all those trials and tribulations! *wails* I'm obviously a whiny reader but arrrrgh, whyyyy??

But then again, as I've said before, such tragic love stories are beautifully simply because they are tragic. There's no other reason, really. I like how powerful you've made their love out to be; I can never comprehend why such intense love can be dubbed 'cheesy' in any way. It's hard to find modern literature/movies/TV shows with everlasting love as a central theme, but you gave it to us in the form of this story, and I thank you for that, Siki!

Now, if I were Kagome, I'd sing this.

"Fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars~"

See how affected I am?? LOL. As for what you've said about my reviews, all I do is try to review as honestly as I can! How can my mediocre reviewing skills compare to your awesome writing?? XD

Much love to you for writing this, Siki!! :) You did such a great job! One more wonderful story to the collection~

Aoi Mitsuki (Chapter 3) - Fri 03 Sep 2010

You NEEEED to make more of these~!! And basing Kag/Sess on legends and myths would be wonderful! I haven't seen much fanfiction portraying legends and myths so it'll be something new~ XD

I love the way you wrote this~ As I've said before, it's like reading an actual mythology book~ XD

About the ending: T.T They couldn't be together in the end.. How sad! But well, we can't change historical writings, right? And being lovers without the physical intimacies make it soooo pure~ I love how you wrote pure emotions~

btw, deym you Apate and Dolos!! T.T Big Meanies!!

Alexandra (Chapter 3) - Thu 02 Sep 2010

adorable story! i liked it a lot - guessing that sango was Athena, inuyasha was Apollo, miroku i can't place, kikyo is definite Aphrodite.... keep up the great work on all your stories! good luck!!

Inkasha Taisho (Chapter 3) - Thu 02 Sep 2010

Sad. Very bittersweet. I loved this though, and I vote you continue with more myths please!! thanks.

MissTeak (Chapter 2) - Wed 01 Sep 2010

Ahh, the author's note totally got me hyped up for interaction! Sorry for taking so long to get down to reading and reviewing The Hunter and the Huntress; I was caught up with reasons which I shall bore you with in the wall post :)

I like the idea of Kagome being the immortal who is unable to resist the charms of Sesshoumaru, the one who is able to die and become nothing more than 'dust in the winds of time'. That's a very refreshing idea!

She is obviously physically attracted to him, which I cannot blame her for. Your writing makes him sound so ethereal and elegant, flawed yet beautiful.

These lines were captivating:

We truly are, simply because nothing we do has meaning to us. We toy with the lives of mortals when we have nothing else to do, simply because we can.

That's very true indeed, for a deity or an immortal. But oh dear, just when I thought everything was moving on smoothly for our favorite couple, Apollo stepped into the picture. It's tragic for an immortal to fall for a mortal, but isn't it beautiful because it's tragic and forbidden? It's best to have loved and lost, Kagome!

And as if you're really listening to my rants, you killed Sesshoumaru!! Noooooooo. But okay, I see signs of him being brought back to life, so...*phewww* Thank goodness.

Siki dear, your writing is so beautiful with how simple yet powerful it is! That makes it very comfortable for the reader, and I am enjoying the story tremendously!! MORE PLEASE~~~

tiana (Chapter 1) - Mon 30 Aug 2010

i lik it

Alexandra (Chapter 1) - Mon 30 Aug 2010

good story i like it a lot! can't wait for more!!

Aoi Mitsuki (Chapter 1) - Mon 30 Aug 2010

I loooove Mythology~!! XD It's like living in a time where magic, war and tragedy was sooo overrated and common XD But still, an exciting environment!

And this piece of work is excellently done! It's like reading from a Mythology book ~!

MissTeak (Chapter 1) - Mon 30 Aug 2010

OMG new fic, new fic!! XD *dances around in excitement* I miss Haki, but this is equally awesome.

Firstly, beautiful writing, my dear! It's refreshing to see it from Sesshoumaru's perspective. I am personally not too familiar with myths and legends though I like them, so this makes a very nice read :) And wow, did Sesshoumaru really reject the King's offer of his daughter?? That's really cool. *googly eyes*

Okayy...so apparently that old King is nowhere as gracious as he appears to be. Hrrrmph. MissTeak dislikes people like that. *kicks*

Blind?? BLIND?? Oh dear. :( But of course, I am glad he was lucky enough to receive assistance of some sort, and I hope things will get better for the Hunter soon! Can't wait till the next chapter, my dear! :) You're doing a great job with this one.
