Wow. I wonder how long Inuyasha has carried that around with him, never telling anybody? I mean it now makes sense that Sesshoumaru is carrying around misplaced guilt, but he still let him take care of him and his mom. I wonder how this will color Kagome's world now. I can't wait to see how this all affects the plan :)
D: Grrrrr... Inupapa T-T I like happy go lucky inupapa not mean inu papa XDDDD Nooooo!!!!!!! Cliffy!! grrrrr
Oh wow... I really don't know what to say. I'm blown away, in a mostly good way. This bit was heavy and very well done.
I'm anxious for the next chapter.
Go Inuyasha!!! Poor Rin. ): And Poor Sesshomaru. ):
Wow. That's really all I can say to the entirety of the retelling of what happened to Rin. It really tugs at the heartstrings.
omg omg. this was just an awesome update...so powerful
oh poor Inu... thats so sad.
Oh wow... wow... WOW!! That old freak... xD But I guess, he tried to save Rin, did he not? Very great chapter...
This is my first review and so I'll say right now (though I should have earlier) that I've loved this story since the beginning, and I normally don't like AUs.
That said, you managed to give me the chills with this latest chapter. I had to go through and read it again, all wide-eyed and slighty shaken just to see if it would have the same effect twice, and it did.
oh wow, thats really intense. i cant wait to read how that played out. poor inuyasha
Well... that answers how Inuyasha knew what transpired. After hearing that... feeling the betrayal... even though it was callous I can understand why he let go of inu-papa's hand.
I suppose how he lost Rin after catching her will be next installment, or soon at least. Why am I getting the feeling inupapa grabs her from beneath the water and the added weight is too much for Inuyasha? *shudders* Just the way you have portrayed the inupapa I could see him doing something like that. One last strike.
Thanks for writing.
Wow!!!!!! what a decision to make.
wow! powerful, very powerful, Luna. i feel like i've been smacked into a wall! i think this is one of your best chapters yet, and that's saying something as this is a very good story and you've been doing a tremendous job crafting it.
Now, don't ask me how I can find these little things when everytime I read this it clutches my heart like a fist, but it's like hearing something that is perfect in rhyme and rhythm and hearing a discordant note.
and watched the disbelief mixed with disgust cross his brother's face (brother's is possessive and needs an apostrophe)
This is just a suggestion: an eerie dance made by the wind. (in a dance made eerie by the wind.)
but he could not [bare] bear to turn and look, and instead focused on the little girl, (bare = naked, bear = carry)
Again, possessive case - girl's: Inuyasha turned only when he saw confusion touch the little girl's face,
Inuyasha turned away, leaning weakly against one of the trees as he let his father's words flow over him, (possessive case - father's)
For just one moment, Inuyasha caught his father's panicked eyes from under the water. (possessive case - father's)
Oh Inuyasha, i really hope it slipped. His father was downright evil in here, i perfer the nice perverted version of his father completely now. Poor Rin, caught in the middle of something that should have been easy to solve, not through murder but by Sesshomaru pumelling his father and raising her without help. Very, very sad chapter today.
And that's no less than he deserves. I thought Inu might have overheard the conversation. Sesshomaru definitely wouldn't have told him and their father died soon afterward. Poor baby. He tried to save Rin... *sigh*
I feel nauseated. It's common knowledge that people kill kids they dislike and/or can no longer care for, but for a father to kill his granddaughter Because he can? To prove a point? That's beyond disgusting.
I wonder why Sesshoumaru's father would do that...just out of spite? To lose someone so close to you. I wonder how he let Kagome go. Hopefully love does conquer all and everything turns out well :)
If he wasn't closed off and guarded before, you developed a way to make him into the Sesshoumaru we all know and love. Bravo! And I like the take on inupapa.
...you did it again! ::wails:: i thought you'd outgrown the cliffieing! ::sobs and begs for more:: cmon , sess's been miserable long 'nuff!
Awwwwwwwww poor sesshy!!! D:
