Well, the idea is very good and your writing is fantastic. The only thing I don´t like is that Rin is again their daughter and I really have enough of that, this topic is so overused it´s not even funny.
I wish she had a son (or a daughter if you insist), but an original character of your creation. It would have been more enjoyable and definitely more creative.
