I love it when Rin puts Jaken in his place by annoying the crap out of him. And I cracked up when I read how his skin color turned into some shade not unlike forest green. Poor, poor Jaken. This is HILARIOUS. 

and just as I thought I couldn't laugh more (I had to convince my brother in the next room I was still sane), I came across this line...

“Seriously, what woman in her right mind would put up with my Daddy’s frigid attitude!  He’s about as romantic as a… a…”

“Turnip.”  Inu Papa supplied.

I think I just died laughing. But I have to say more about the chapter. The descriptions of the restaurant was fantastic! I love torii (having just visited Fushimi Inari Shrine in May where I got a torii overload) and if that restaurant was real, I would definitely visit it! I cannot, cannot, cannot wait for the next chapter when Sesshoumaru decides to confront his dad and daughter with regards to their snooping. They make a cute pair of detectives, those two. *sigh* It is just so adorable. I am caught up and frustrated now because there's no 'next chapter' to go to.

But you know when I say that, it means you've done a stunning job. Thank you for writing this, and please, update when you can! :)

People get high on stuff like alcohol, drugs and so on, but I apparently get high on good fiction from you, knife! As you can already see from my earlier review of chapter 4, I am hyped and cannot wait for more interaction between the two of them. I loved how Kagome deliberately waited for him to fasten her seat belt for her. That's really, really cute.

The conversation between them was just...awwww. It elicited squeals, grins and a lot of happy-on-the-spot-bouncing from me. I love your story; I am officially hooked. I like the details you've put in on the topic of rural China's practices and so on. As a Singaporean Chinese, I can assure you your information is definitely accurate and it is true that as of even today, Asian cultures still value a male child over a female child. It's not too blatant as compared to the past, but it nonetheless exists. Good job done!

Kagome is too cute. She is such a sweetheart here, and I love how she is holding herself really well against Sesshoumaru's immense charm. Most females might have already fallen to their knees but she is not standing, but standing proud! On top of that, the way she dealt with the comments of gossip mongers like Clara just reflected her great personality. Well done, Kagome!! You're amazing.

Oh, I have something else to add. The little scene of Sesshoumaru reaching over to fasten her seat belt for her was really sweet and charming.

The tension's rising in the air, and gosh, we NEED progress!!! Go Sesshoumaru! Prove yourself!!!

I like the first paragraph of the third chapter so much; I had to click on 'Leave Review' immediately so I could type this first. I love the descriptions, and the way you portrayed Kagome as this awkward intruder in the financial district. It really spelled out the difference between Kagome and Sesshoumaru in terms of their social statuses.

Anyway, on with the review. Jaken is obviously being annoying and funny as always and Sesshoumaru is being a class A jerk which is what we all love him for! The characterization is perfect, and Kagome's reaction when she laid eyes upon Mr. Drop-Dead-Gorgeous is hilarious! I cackled when I read that paragraph. LOL.

The way you described the physical attraction between them is so vivid; I could picture everything. Sesshoumaru's attitude is just perfect for such a setting, and I am bouncing in my seat anticipating the next chapter. Here I go!

I lost count of the number of times I grinned like an idiot at the computer screen, and I almost fell off my chair imagining Rin releasing 100 rabbits from their cage. This is insanely funny, and you deserve a medal for creativity and humor! Everyone else in the group is so adorable too; any story with Jak and co. is good. Once again, you managed to keep the story humorous and fun to read while moving on with the plot. I am really loving this, and I can see why you've gotten so many encouraging reviews for it! :) You deserve every single one of them.

Oh my god. Dear knife, you are awfully good at writing naughty as well!! The first chapter was enough to prove how much of a good read this story is going to be, and it is definitely promising. My attention was immediately captured by the awkward situation between Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru and of course, Kagome (who's probably too busy to even feel embarrassed), and I cannot wait to read more of how Sesshoumaru and Kagome got to the situation they found themselves in.
