Madison (Chapter 1) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

&$*(@&*$(%!

Now that is out of the way...

OMG HUN. This story will be absolutely fantastic. I can already feel my toes twitching. Not only is the storyline completely amazing, but also you just know how to write it. It would be fair to say i was basically giggling the whole time I was reading especially the What's an Hn? SO FREAKING HILARIOUS.

Kagome is acting as a typical Kagome, and I love it.

I cannot wait for more development on Sesshomaru a.k.a why does he want to marry her, what are his reasons. And I have a feeling things won't be as simple as he put them out to be.

All of this to say you've outdone yourself again.

Now on to chapter 2!

Tana_san (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

Ah, so I see that you have returned from your trip. All went wonderfully well, I hope. I'm happy you're back, I've missed you!

So, you've become inspired to write another fic? So far, I like it. I do have but one question and though  haven't read any of the other reviews as of yet, I'm sure others would ask the same thing...why has Kagome agreed to marry Sesshoumaru without knowing how much money she'll be receiving? I mean, you did mention that she said she could repair the shrine and maybe help Souta with his schooling, but you didn't mention an amount and it would be very foolish of her to accept this "arrangement" without full knowledge and some kind of proof on the amount of the money. Her great grandfather may never have taken the money but that doesn't mean alot when with the decline of patrons over the years and costs of running and upkeep required might have required some of those funds to be used.

I agree with Sesshoumaru, she has no idea on what it takes to run an inn. (even if it's just a small one) Kagome has no idea just what she's gotten into and if she thinks she's just going to be there long enough to get the money and run...Sesshoumaru has another thought for her, I'm quite sure. I'll bet he knows more than what he told her about getting the money and going their separate ways...  And who is taking care of the shrine while she's there? Is Mama and Souta still living there? Don't you wish I'd just stop asking so many questions so soon in the story??

I'm not trying to be difficult here but I tend to be such a curious person and this will bug me until I know she wasn't just being over naiive about this. Another thing that maybe fun, since you've been to Japan, can you leave little note at the end about the area they're in and such? Is this city/town a real place in the country or just fictional?    JEN

knifethrower (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

I'm really getting into this!  I can perfectly envision Kagome and Sesshomaru in the roles you have assigned them, I bet Kagome will be excellent at bringing guests to their family business!  I wonder if she will charm the few customers they do get into providing word-of-mouth advertising, or if she will do something a bit more modern and calculated.  Sesshy is like a very handsome Lurch (you know, the huge, stiff and geeky butler in the Adams Family movies?)  His personality is so difficult!  That is what makes him fun in this.  I can picture the ruyokan as well, from the Japanese landscaping and gardening books my sister-in-law has brought to me.  I see the facilities as very quaint and charming,  all comprised of wood-tones with spots of color, and the surroundings beautiful, surrounded by green and watery mist.

Saide (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

This is lovely. :3 Very very lovely indeed. Heehee...finally had a few plotbunnehs to give you a boost of new ideas. >3 WAH! I can't wait for the upcoming chapters from you >3333

samu (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

Eh, for a woman of 24-years she is rather childish. No wonder Sesshoumaru finds her annoying, I find her annoying, too.

I´m asking myself why she didn´t have any relationship in Tokyo or is it because you made her so childish? She behaves as if she´s fifteen. And how come she just left the shrine behind? She´s trying to save it isn´t she so is not her leaving the shrine contraproductive?

Rikayu (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010

oooooh all alone, just the two of them, at the ryokan~~ lot of opportunities to... be mischievous *snickers*

I'm totally loving this story so far, MissTeak~~~ Your writing skillz have once again hooked me, and now I can't wait for the next chapter!

Also, the ryokan foodstuffs look delicious!! :D

knifethrower (Chapter 1) - Sat 05 Jun 2010

This promises to be interesting!  What a great beginning.  As always, I adore everything about your writing...

Ruriame (Chapter 1) - Sat 05 Jun 2010

I have a feeling I'm really going to like this story. Since I also want to do this challenge and you're a writer of such high caliber, I was worried. But I think I was deluding myself that anything I write coule ever be similar to anything you write. You're just a pool of creative everything. How you keep coming up with this stuff is amazing. The set-up for this is interesting and the interactions were amusing and hold true to my perception of what those characters would act like in this type of situation.

What on earth was ‘Hn’??

LMFAO. That was an EPIC line, right there.

And Prisoner’s Dilemma? Genius. I always thought game theory was interesting and I'm so glad you brought it up. I've wanted to use the idea when I learned about it myself somewhere but I had no idea when or where. It matches so well and just makes Sesshoumaru's character seem so Sesshoumaru-like. I could love you just for that (but I love you for a lot of other reasons). The expanse of your knowledge is exceptional. I can't even begin to describe everything I want to say in the right words, so I'll try to describe what I can in the best words I can pick and hope it's enough.

Can't wait for the update!
