Beautifully done, but I think that I might just cry.  Ugh, for such a short story, you sure do know how to tear at someone's heart.  It is funny, in spite of the sadness, there is still a light at the end of the tunnel.  I wish there was more.

HEY! Just wanted to mention two tiny mistakes in the fic. You called the shrine that Kagome lives at Higurashi Sunset Shrine, which is pretty much calling it Sunset Sunset Shrine because Higurashi means sunset. Also, in Japan, they don't have middle names. They just have a family name and a first name. So it'd be just Higurashi Kagome. Just an FYI, not at all a flame! Thanks!
