I really love Alicia Keys and her song "A Woman's Worth"! So, don't be surprised if I told you I squealed when I realized what Kagome was going to sing. I thought the song fit perfectly with this plot. It portrayed her hurt towards Inuyasha's betrayal, and at the same time telling others *cough* Sesshomaru *cough* that a real man would know her worth *cough date her *cough*.
I was a bit confused when I read that Kagome felt so heart broken and betrayed by Inuyasha...but she had affections for Sesshomaru all this time. I thought that was a bit...hmm...well...in a way...she was doing the same thing as Inuyasha...righ? That is just my opinion though. Or perhaps you could add in a few more details about her affections towards Sesshomaru to ease the readers into understanding Kagome's feelings.
I really enjoyed reading this, and wonder if this is a one-shot? This story is listed 'uncompleted' so I wonder if you will continue to write more. I am curious to see where this story will go.

This is a good start for a first timer! I was a bit puzzled by this sentence: "Kagome thought that getting a job at the local movie theatre would bring her and her boyfriend closer together." Why would she think that? Is she working to support Inuyasha while he stays home and surfs the web?
