I was hoping for a bit of playful teasing, though Kagome sticking it to him with the card game was just as good (though poor Kagome had to beat in front of an audience to appease Sesshy's ego and need to show off). Because the game was private, it makes me feel like Karma let Sesshoumaru off easy for all he put Kagome through before they got together, but knowing how nice and forgiving Kagome is, I can't really see the story having a different outcome. You do well to capture the nature of the characters. Can't wait for more! XD
