This story was great . You told us the pup was a boy but you didn't give us his name or say if the pup turned out to be a hanyou or not. From the description of the pup it would seem the young heir was not a hanyou but I don't know if the pup being hanyou would mean he had to look like Inuyasha with ears & no markings. I thought only an heir is born with the symbol on the forehead but I don't know if a child that is not a pure bred youkai could have markings & the heir symbol. I was thinking that it could be possible the pup was born a pure bred inu youkai with both miko & youkai abilities (like a Miko-Inu Youkai) or a pure bred Inu Youkai that is doesn't have Miko abilities but is immune to Miko (holy) powers.Either would make sense to me ,,,if the pup is fathered by a powerful youkai & carried/nurtured from conception to birth in the womb of a powerful Miko ,while in the womb the pup would be protected from/by the holy power & likely infused with the Miko abilites, the immunity or both. I thought Miko or Holy powers can be used for purifying,healing or harm but the intent behind the use determines how they are used.
I know Inuyasha gets markings only when his powerful demon blood completely takes over his human blood & he loses control & when his demon blood is back under control or his body is back to the state of being in balance with his human blood or hanyou state the markings disappear & his sanity restored.That made me think only one with all demon blood would have markings all the time(& at birth).
All that really matters is this great story is fiction written by you & the story is all yours so if you don't write the info down in the story then all I can do is wonder, guess & try to reason out theories & possibilities for the info left unknown. Which is also a great way to leave a story...leave the reader guessing,wondering & thinking. Of course there is always a possibility that you may write a story that follows this one. I just can't help myself from thinking & wanting to know more from your story. I can't help it, I enjoyed it sooo much that I wish it were longer.....I want more..

OMG!! This was great! I loved it! Very well written...some typos but flow and structure were done well. The story-line is what is important. I believe you depicted Sesshomaru's transition wonderfully. Any other way would have been...fakish...is that even a word? Anyway, I hope you understand my point. This is terrific. Keep writing. You are very good!

Yes, I like a good lemon, but only if it fits in with the scene. Those last two chapters went just fine without a lemon. For a mini-story, it was very detailed and enjoyable.
