So sorry for not being able to review the other night. A lightning storm hit and I had most of my review done and went to the bathroom and when I come out my husband had turned off my laptop and pulled all the plugs. Then I've been hit with a series of headaches and well, I'm sure you know what that's like...

Both PJ and I got a kick out of Rin's not wanting Sessh standing around at her party. So, there's a new term for sexy guys, huh? I like it. And Sesshoumaru's tantrum over there being boys who might try anything with Rin sounds sooo much like my own husband. He wanted to go 'chaperone' PJ's first school couple's dance because he remebered how many places there are to go and have a 'private' party of your own. PJ handled him pretty well though and promised him that we raised her with good morals and respect. And if he really felt the need to look in on her he could, but to please trust her and not stay long. There were alot of parents doing just that and only one woman nosed around so much, at every function, that her daughter was the big joke on campus. Now that's a shame.

I think that Sesshoumaru taking one of Kagome's undergarments or linergie is flattering, as well as romantic. I sure wouldn't mind but my husband is too old fashioned to do that. I also like the obscene phone call too. I do it to my husband quite often when he's at work and he loves it. He can't believe how naughty I can get. He also adores my sexy little giggle. I wasn't aware that I had one...

Anyway, I think Kagome can pull it off. She should have a glass or two of wine while listening to the right music and,...just let her inner minx loose. She'll surprise herself with how fun it is and the results it'll bring! Night now, sleep beckons.  JEN

well...as strange as it may sound i'm happy kagome misses sesshoumaru and that rin fears he won't come back...these feelings are so natural and i'm glad you adresses especially rins emotions here...it went way to smooth this reunion and although you wrote that sesshoumaru explained how he searched for them we did not really hear rin's oppinion and feelings on it...when something hurt you, you may grow up as much as you like but when confronted with the past the feelings cannot be simply pushed away/ overcome...when she thinks about sesshoumaru leaving she simply cannot forget how she felt when he vanished from her life the first time...poor rin

oh wow... >.< i am sosososooooo happy that finally everything seems to fall into place...rin surely is a bad little girl palying her drama and making sesshouamru feel anxious XD but he's quite lucky kagome knows her daughter so well and stops her before sesshoumaru starts to really feel depressed :o

and i am more than just pleased that the little misunderstanding reagarding their first "conscious" night together...kagome could adress her fear he might have second thoughts because of her humanity and sesshoumaru now knows that she likes his beast XD

yay for this sugar sweet chapter...although i would have loved for rin's and sesshoumaru's first real hug to be described more detailed >.< it seemed like a totally normal action, but i somehow thought there would be more reserve

the only big problem we know have is rin's birthday party XD dunno what papa's gonna do should some male dare to show up...and god beware approach rin...for a talk or something scandalous like that *lol*

please update soon, i cannot wait for the next chapter...and of course i would like a few more chapters, describing their new life together....are they going to move back to japan, is rin gonna show the mean girl's in her school who's got the hottest daddy XD

Sweeeet!  I'm glad Rin took the news pretty well.  She's not a little girl anymore, that makes things kind of complicated.  Plus, it was her and Kagome against the world for a long time...

awwwww.....Rin knows, but, you can't blame her for wondering why she had to grow up so hard when, he was there some where and had everything to make their lives better. I hope things get better. If he had found them sooner, he probably would have taken Rin without, giving Kagome a second look. Great chapter.

As i've stated before, i love your writting!!! So once again i am enjoying another one of your awesome fics and like all the others it does not fail to capture my attention! How you manage to come up with different story lines for everyone of your stories and never write the same story is beyond me!!! You are truly brilliantly talented, and thank you greatly for sharing them with us!!

On with the review:

I love how you handled Rin finding out the truth about Sesshomaru, as i was reading along i kept think how is Rin going to find out because it didn't seem like you would just get the two of them sitting down having a talk with the teenager, toooo boring for ya style! But this was nice, realistic and a lil' bit of dramatic's, but nothing really story altering! Thank you once again for a great story and i look forward to the update!!

P.S Hope the writters block is gone! (Though form this story im guessing it might have!)

Ok, Lady O, I know you're waiting for this. I figured the time would most likely happen when Rin and he were alone and that he would, for lack of a better word, feel cornered into telling her the truth that he is Sesshoumaru. I half expected her, like Kagome, to ask why he hadn't come for her and then launch into the whole scene like she did in the park, but this, this was much better.

Rin's attitude is the result of those she has spent the most time around, that being both Sesshoumaru and Kagome. It would only be right that she would need to assess all her thoughts and feelings first. There are times when Kagome just jumps into an arguement and ususally regrets her words and then there are times when Kagome just stomps off to think first and question later. Sesshoumaru, well he's just acts with reserve at all times (unless it's Kagome, who is the only one who can push his buttons). So, this was the best way to go. I enjoyed Rin's thoughts and feelings thinking he was reincarnated. To someone of her ethnic background and age, it made perfect sense to me. She's an intelligent young girl and I liked that Sesshoumaru took her age and upbringing into consideration before trying to stop her from leaving. Oh and the going to the park to think was a nice touch, too.  Sesshoumaru would always go to some secluded and peaceful place to stop and look at the sky when he was in the Feudal Era.

Now, here's the something I'm concerned with. I understand why Sesshoumaru felt embarrassed  (though I'm sure Kagome will show him he needn't be) when he was talking to himself while cooking, he referred to InuYasha and his not having a beast because of his hanyou birth. This is the paragraph to which I'm referring: 

"the issue of marking had most likely never come up, due to Inuyasha being a mere half-demon and did not possess an inner beast. What the boy had was nothing more than a sadistic and murderous side that merely existed because of their shared noble line. The whelp could not control that which flowed through his veins, even if it was diluted with his human mother’s blood. Their great and terrible sire’s blood still managed to overpower that and emerged from time to time; making the boy nothing more than a loathsome, indiscriminate, rampaging maniac with no sense of familiarities or loyalties; to him, all he encountered was prey. As such, the matter of choosing a female and marking her as mate was an unlikelihood." 

My question is, since Sesshoumaru is having these thoughts, will he even consider having offspring with Kagome? It sounds to me like he still has the same views about hanyou and if this is true, Kagome, not to mention Rin will be heartbroken because both have always wanted a family. Have you already given any thought to this? I'm sure you have but I'm just saying. My thoughts to why he didn't want to mark her was because he wanted her consent first,so that thought of his never entered my mind. If he is still having trouble with a hanyou birth, he needs to give this some serious thought before asking Kagome to marry him.
