But onto better thoughts! :D So I saw this fanfic the other day, and it has thoroughly grabbed my attention! I think you stick to their characters very well. And even though the chapters are shorter than some I've read, you're still very detailed, and transition smoothly from chapter to chapter. It makes me feel like I'm not missing out on anything at all. :) Keep up the great work! I can't wait to read more from you! :)

Forget the flames. After all is said and done, if you don't like the story then don't read it. I myself love this story and love that Kagome and Sesshoumaru finally married. Is there more? I hope there is more. Please!

Don't show your anger. Ignoring flames is the best course of action, otherwise you're just feeding their egos since lots of flamers solely flame for the fun there is in pissing off the author (and there ARE flame random generators). Lei it slide... like water off ducks! I'm not going to go into caressing your wounded ego 'cause you already have a nice and loving fanbase to do it and I hate to say what everyone does. Ya... guess I'm not the fan everyone want to have.

So, onto the chapter: nice. I love your Sesshoumaru. How he is so expressive without the aid of words. Excellent characterization, I say. I also liked the blend of cultures (and Sessh's groom attire! :D ). Can I say I'm with him in his anticipation of what's next?

Okay, whoever is flaming this has craniofecal syndrome and needs to get a life. I thought this chapter was adorable, especially the wedding part. The idea of Kag and Sess having a wedding together is soooooo cute.

Shame on those anonymous flamers! You're doing such a great job, so just ignore the flame! I've gotten a few here and there in my 5 years of writing fanfiction, and I use the flames to toast marshmallows with. LOL. We don't owe them anything, and for goodness' sake, we're not even making money for this. It's really for fun and recreation!

On the other hand, the progress is excellent! I love the pace of the story, and it's getting more and more romantic with every chapter. I'm looking forward to the explanation behind Kagome's healing abilities! :) Sesshoumaru's kisses are so hot. Good job!!

I read your author's note and let me assure you - though I bet I'm not even close to being the first to say this - you are in no way lacking as a writer. Your story is beautifully written and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make such lovely art. The quality of most stories is no where near what you offer, and I happen to be EXTREMELY picky when it comes to what I read. 90% of the fiction on sites like these I overlook because they don't meet my standards.

I love writing also, though I don't get to do it as often as I'd like (having two little babies makes it difficult to do much of anything aside from nap, change diapers, and pull my hair out) and I'm certainly not as good as you are. I don't have any of my own works posted on this site yet, though I plan to put up a few oneshots soon. But enough about that... What I'm getting to is that I too have received an anonymous flame, and my reaction was exactly like yours.

How dare this anonymous loser slander your beautiful work when it deserves nothing but praise! I've never really understood the idea of a flame - I feel that if you don't like a story, then don't read it. I don't get why people read stories through and then deign it necessary to write the author just to tell them how unsatisfied they were with the read. Constructive criticism I get, but a flame is just dumb. Really...? Really? Here's a fucking idea. Press the nifty little 'back' button at the top left corner of the screen and all of your troubles will disappear.

But honestly, as stupid as I think it is, I can deal with a normal flame... but as soon as I see that it's from an anonymous reviewer I get severely pissed. People who read fanfiction - which is written merely for enjoyment of the author and for the pleasure of others - and then feel the urge to just brainlessly bash someone without offering any kind of suggestion or helpful criticism can kiss the very whitest part of my ass. It only makes it worse when they don't have the balls to do so under an account name. And it's no fucking coincidence, either, because all of the classless, nasty assholes who do this never do it with an address we can respond to. How fucking cowardly and pathetic is that?!

So now, after having witnessed this disturbing crime against such a beautiful piece of work, I have come the the conclusion that these people are not actually serious readers who have a problem with the stories they flame. They are obviously ill-bed idiots who have neither the mental capacity nor the talent to write anything worth reading. I'm sure anyone whose ever received one of these would agree that most of these flames look something like this: this is teh worse story i ever red y do u even try u suk   Again... really?  You're going to make fun of our stories and you don't even have the decency to use the basic rules of grammar? Apparently someone didn't pay attention in grade 1 language arts. Durr!! Go back to your fucking hovels, you inbred hillbillies!!

Ahem, so it is my honest belief that these are simply people who are jealous of real talent and feel the need to bash the authors in an attempt to make themselves feel less shitty about their own pitiful abilities. Your story in no way deserves a flame. It lacks nothing and flows magnificently. Art in it's purest form. So, if the retard who left you a flame made you feel crumby in any way, I hope that my message helped to lighten your mood. They don't matter one infinitesimal little bit and can just go blow it out their ass. Seriously douche-bag, grow up!

-flails-  *o*  This was the first fanfiction I read when I came back to the sess/kag scene.  I used to write a lot (and read obviously) on A Single Spark before it closed down.  :3  This is one of the BEEEST Fic's I've read.  I've favorited it and have been anxiously awaiting each update. :3  Your writing is marvelous.  Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for writing such a great fic! ^.^

woman, you can't do that. it's like dangling a carrot in front of the horse and then eating it yourself in front of the horse (and maybe throwing some mmmm's in and smacking your lips too), after the horse had driven the cart 25 miles for you.  OK maybe I've exaggerated a bit.  But if you are going to complain about a flame, at least leave it up there for the readers who do read the A/N complaining about the flame to have a chance to read about the flame from the source! (I'm not saying it wasn't a flame - since I have never seen it - but it's always nice to be able to see for oneself). Maybe it's still up there with the reviews. But if so I couldn't find it!

I have really enjoyed this fic. Sesshoumaru's desire for Kagome has been building over so much time and he finally gets to be with her.  I loved the way they reunited in the future and are starting out a life together.  Please don't let a stupid flamer discourage you from writing such a beautiful story!

People who flame are simply cowards that are jealous that they aren't getting the attention that you are, and they enjoy getting a reaction.  Just ignore the pompous asses.  ^_^

1. This is a delightful chapter and I have been thoroughly enjoying the whole story.

2. When you get a flame, you report them to Wiccan Methuselah... if they survive THAT they will probably never leave another flame again. Flames are not acceptable, rudeness is not acceptable, and mean people truly do suck!

I agree 100% with you about flamers. They need to ball up and stuff those balls into their mouths because it's straight up cowardice to leave one as an anon.
