Yes! Some of the shit that needed to be said has been said!!! I love the fact that the beast and Kags finally had a chance to talk, but damnit, Kagome needs to gain some more perspective other than her own. Yes, what he did was wrong, but at the time that was all he (and everyone else in the flippin' world) knew. He even is able to make the important distinction between then and now, knows that through her eyes it was horrible and I think he feels a tiny bit guilty about it all if only because of how she and the modern world nows views the whole debacle. But she seriously needs to try to look at it from his point of view, which she hasn't done whatsoever. That is what he knew, that is what he was taught. I'm not saying go ahead and forgive immediately, there's a lot of work to be done to get to that point (including the beast saying the ever important sorry). At some point though, she has to realize that ever since she's rejoined Sess it's been all about her, I mean the damn demon has been walking on eggshells for fear of doing the wrong thing and having her reject him! If she wants him, she'll have to accept both parts of him, period. One last thing, I LOVE how the beast pointed out why Inuyasha chose her. After all the crap he gave her, she was just too tickle me pink about him wanting to finally be with her to actually consider why he chose her (I think the beast hit the nail on the head there!). As usual, can't wait for your next chapter to come out...too hopelessly caught up in the story.

Oh god, that beast... He is so annoying... and somewhat... sweet (?) at the same time. xD I hate him for doing all these bad things to Kagome... But on the other side, I think, he really is madly in love with her and would really do everything, to be with her. The way he did it, was wrong, for US. But for his time, for his world, it was normal. Kagome IS selfish on that point, because she does not try to look at it from his point of view. But she also does not explain some things... like, why she forgave Sesshomaru quite easily. A sorry would do wonders... etc... xD

Anyway... I am so happy for this confrontation... I waited sooooo long for Kagome to talk to the beast again... ugghhh :D So thrilling... :D

First off, let me say that I LOVE your story. Truly LOVE. I look forward to every new chapter and can't wait for the next one.

But I also have to say, Kagome is being a jerk. Granted, I know he violated her and while I don't agree with that, Kagome is making it so much harder than it needs to be. He's somewhat apologizing in his own way and she's just acting like he's saying that what he did was perfect. He's telling her that it was right to do that then showing that he understands it's wrong now, but she's so hung up on her own customs that she's not trying to understand him. She's saying it's all about his desires, but when she said she wanted to take it slow, he tried to do that for her...to make her happy. Granted, he should actually apoloogize, but it's obvious he's not going to because he did what was right for that time. It's just like going to stay in a different country and still trying to live by your former country's law, even if your current country doesn't have that law. The neighbor's aren't going to apologize for doing what is right in their country anymore than they would expect you to if they came back to your former country. She needs to understand that. He's doing his best to make her happy but she just seems to throw his efforts back in his face. Yes, what he did hurt her, destroyed her even. He understands that, but she doesn't understand that what she's doing is hurting him, too.

Man I was estatic to learn that you updated, so excited in fact that I had holed in a 24 Starbucks downtown just to get net access to read it on my laptop. And I wasnt disappointed at all. Update soon miss lady pronto.

sooooo....normally i only come on to Dokuga once every other day or so....but today after reading your newest installment to the story, ive been on the site atleast 8 times just checking if you updated yet lol....x) this is great, i love the intensity of this chapter and how the characters are progressing. Im glad she finally facing the beast (and that we get to see how the beast feels on the matter at hand) ..YOUR STORY IS WONDERFUL. Ive been reading it since you began it (now ive told on myself..sorry for not reviewing ;] ) And i also understand that greatness requires time...so im only asking that the update not be toooo terrible long from now lol...im might just go crazy on all the possiblities of the upcoming chapter if so ;) ~Great Job (especially with this not being your first language )

You are crazy good at choosing where to stop the chapter, almost as good as the writers of True Blood when they end each episode on a cliff hanger. Perhaps they'll finally get some answers on why the beast ran away. I can only assume he feels intense guilt and maybe shame? I still think he's "in love" with her in his own special way, but maybe he finally realized how much he hurt her and doesn't want to hurt her again even though he still wants her. Still love this story and can't wait to see what you have in store for them :)
