Oh my...Where have this fiction been all this time. I love the drama and the urgh...while it makes me mad at...I dunno. I just got caught in the story as well. This is good. Gonna keep up with this story.

There were a couple of things: desperacy is not a word (yet). The word you want is desperation.

You used calloused, which does mean thick-skinned, but I think perturbed or harassed would be better. Harassed would be my choice, having finished the chapter. Especially, if his father is trying to undermine his career.

Other than these two things, it's a really good story and very well written.

I like where you're going with this. I like how you put them in different positions. Sesshoumaru isn't the top dog and Kagome is the one calling the shots. I like how you described the beginning, with Sesshoumaru running late and looking all disarray. Keep up the good work! ^^
