I like how you're lining out the different characters: though amazingly faithful to my favourite novel, you put a good deal of the Lord of the Western Lands and of Kagome inside. :) I have some difficulties in finding Inuyasha and Kikyo inside your fic... Inu is way too polite and Kikyo is way to sweet!

When I clicked on the story, I thought it would be placed around 1800. It was a great surprise that the story is modern. I love your adaptation. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors. I noticed most of the lines are from the movie, but I adore the film as well. It's hard to say, "I can't wait for what's next!" because I know what's going to happen BUT I hope you update soon. This story is well written. The characters are great and it's nice to see a change from the typical Sesshomaru/Kagome pairing. Keep up the great work and I'll definately check up on any new chapter.

You know, I hated Mr. Bingley's sisters in Pride and Prejudice and now I hate Kagura and Kaguya just as much. They are definitely 'harpies.'

Towards the end, I got so excited when Sesshomaru offered Kagome a ride to her house. Finally some alone time! But then as fate would have it, Kagura had to go and mess that all up. Why does she even try? Sesshomaru will never like her.

Anyway, I hope you update soon! I'm really loving this story right now! Can't wait! :D

Kagome's character and Sesshoumaru's were both definitely well chosen and they fit perfectly with the plot.

I commend you on making this an interesting read and hope you keep up the good work in the future. =)

Mhm! This is getting more and more interesting. Will Sesshomaru show his interest for Kagome from the start? Will he interfere between Kikyo and Inuyasha or we he let them be? I'm still wondering what parts are going to be like in the book or diferent.

Love Elizabeth and love Kagome -- two strong characters in a world where men are really the weaker creatures.  Nicely woven modern day with the patrician era of P & P.

I'm so happy that someone finally decided to write a story based off of Pride and Prejudice. It's my favorite book of all time, and I'm so excited to see what you have planned for your story! Very good job on the first chapter!

As I began reading it, I started thinking of who you would have for what character. Sesshomaru and Kagome are obviously Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth. But who's going to be Wickham and the other 3 sisters? You must update soon! I can't wait! :D

I read Pride and Prejudice not too long ago and I loved it. I can't wait to read more of this adaptation! I can't wait to see who will be the other sisters (I'm guessing Sango will be one...)
