GO RIN! i hate that cat =x

Sesshoumaru is Inuyasha all over again.  Just like Inuyasha held onto past memories of love for Kikyou, Sesshoumaru is doing the same thing with Miyuki.  His love is deeper for Kagome, but he's letting cold logic make the final decision.  I am so glad that Rin was a silent witness to this even though I feel so sorry for her.  I wonder just what she plans to do.  I know that she'll most likely show her dislike for Miyuki, causing Miyuki to plan to quietly be rid of her somehow just like she'll eventually want Kagome to be gone, also.

Also, once again, Kagome believes herself to not be good enough for the one she loves.  I disagree with Kei about the feeling sorry for onesself.  Yes, it can be carried to extremes, but some is needed for self preservation.  Which is exactly what Kagome needs to be thinking about in regards to her and Shippo's lives.  She'd best take a good look at Miyuki and see a powerful demoness of the past instead of an ex-friend from the future.  Even though Kagome has resigned her self to Sesshoumaru and Miyuki being together, it will still deeply hurt her when she hears the decision.  And when the time comes that however you plan the plot for Sesshoumaru to eventually end up with Kagome, what will keep her from feeling she was his second choice?  How will he convince her that he loved her deeper that Miyuki when his actions said otherwise?  Kagome better not make it easy for him.  I wouldn't, being made to feel my love was second best and any children I would give him would not be good enough.  Hell yes!  He'd have to bend over backwards to prove himself to me.  I guess I'm just feeling highly irritated at Sesshoumaru right now.  In fact, he's put me in a downright bad mood.  Grrrr!

By the way, where's Miroku and Sango?  I want Sango's memories of Miyuki.

Sesshy's making a biiiiig mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I hope when he finds out, Kagome doesn't make it too easy on him.  Come to think of it, this is a great opportunity for angst.  Make Sesshy and Kagome suffer because of his decision!

I'm loving every bit of this story. The tension could be cut with a knife and poor Sesshomeru is stuck in the middle. Prehaps you can allow Kagome to show that se has some claws of her own.

Youkai or not, it's only natural that Miyuki would begin to be jealous of Kagome.  I saw this coming.

See what I mean?  I know everyone has good memories of Miyuki and was glad to see her return, but no one welcomed Kagome back, even to be polite.  This 'friendship' between the two women is already starting to feel the tiniest bit of strain in the way you write their actions and words.  Kagome even had the thought that Miyuki was not her favorite person at the moment.  This will only grow and I still believe it will be worse with Miyuki.  As I said before, Kagome had best be careful around Myuki.  She's in Miyuki's era and under feudal laws now.  Kagome had best distance herself so as to not fuel Miyuki's jealousy.  For it will come whether Miyuki wants to be or not.  Also, Kagome needs to protect her heart from being in further toment.

I'm glad you got another computer! I've been waiting to see what happens, lol I found lots of good stories but they didn't really leave me wanting to read more. Congrats!

im loving the story so far but there is only one problem, thats not how rin dies in the TV show everything else is up to par but it works

I'm glad you managed to get a new computer!  Good for you for working so hard for it!  I can't wait for the next chapter, this is an awesome story.

Dear Zoo, when I first read your fic, I was floored.  I have so much to say about your twenty-something chapters but the words are just jumbled in my head.  You are such a gifted writer.  I love angst and you ROCK THE WORLD with it.  My favorite aspect of your fic is how you don’t demonize Sesshoumaru for the difficulty of his choices.  In other fics, he is seen as a cheating bastard when the old flame comes back.  Kagome is automatically a victim and the old flame is a gold-digging whore.  But you made Miyuki likeable!  I really like Miyuki – she’s just an awesome character: a girl who really does balance out Sesshoumaru.  This is what makes everything harder.  Of course I sympathize with Kagome-girl but I find myself sighing because of Sesshoumaru’s plight.  Wonderful, wonderful writing! 

Now, this was kinda in the beginning of your fic… When Sesshoumaru “trains” her to be a better miko (earning the right to wear the sign…etc.), I almost jumped for joy.  I like Sesshoumaru to be unsympathetic but fair, cold but succumbing to Kagome’s infectious warmth.  The progression of romance was right on target. 

Okay – here comes the crit part!  I noticed throughout your fic that you write the word “loose” a lot when the proper word should be “lose.”  This is a purely superficial detail in an otherwise awesome fic.  There are little to no grammar mistakes, and I would give your spelling a seven out of ten. 

Another part I had found some issues with was the scene when Kagome finally confronts Inuyasha when he is bound by Kagome’s spell.  I know he was brainwashed by Kikyo, but he snapped out of the brainwashing too quick.  Now, it could be that his guilty conscience was screaming at him for some time and he just listened to it.  However, in your fic, it makes it sound like Inuyasha just had some sort of magical revelation and then *POOF* he’s normal.  I thought you could have expanded more on Inuyasha’s feelings to really complete the scene. 

I love it when fics introduce past sessh into modern day!!  *daydreams about Sesshoumaru in tight modern clothing*….*drool*  The lime scene was very… smexii to say the least!  *fans herself* 

The song part (La Rouge) was my least favorite even though it was integral to the plot.  My personal preferences are the reason for this, not the writing – which brings me to an important thought:  Even though I didn’t like the song part, it flowed extremely well.  I saw great writing to pull dialogue, thought, and song all into one.  And kudos for finding the perfect song for the occasion. 

Now I’m rambling, so I’ll stop.  I think you get the picture that I love your fic.  I’m sorry to hear that your computer died on you… >.<;;;  It has happened to me too, so I hope nothing too important was lost!  RIP computer!!

I'm sorry about your computer, they can be such loyal friends or treacherous beasts, depending.  I hope you can write more soon, because this story is excellent, and I am very engaged by Kagome, Sesshomaru, and their situation.  Glad you continue to write, even if it is with paper and pen...

I just thought of something that I forgot to include in my preview yesterday.  The incident with Sango at the hot springs when she saw the picture of Miyuki with Kagome.  She made the comment that she looked familiar.  Kagome has not remembered that and I hope Sango gets a good look at Miyuki and remembers everything she knows about her.  I'm hoping she has another mate somewhere out there that comes to claim her.  That, of course, would be too good to be true and the easy way out.  I just hope that Kagome is not so foolish as to try to remain friends with her.  That would only lead to more heartrending pain.  You want to distance yourself from pain.

OMG i just started reading this and its wonderfull!!! The last couple of chapters were so sad and its such an awkward situation for Sess, Kags and Miyuki/Kuri, and it sucks even more that Kagome seems to be the one who's hurting the most again. But hopefully everything will sort it self out, and i look forward to the rest now that they have all gone back to the past! I really really really look forward to the next chapters!!!
