It was interesting. I've never heard the song, so on that level I can't really connect to what you've decided to write about, on that note, I haven't lost a husband or a boyfriend, so I don't understand that, either, although, it was easy to empathize with Kagome and her feelings. You wrote it well, although, I think you could have done the dream and the flashbacks differently, it was good.
