Awesome chapter! I'm totally hooked on this. I like the idea and how you're working with it. It's a new alternative to how Kagome came to guard the Shikon.

Just a bit of input....  I like this story so far....  I hope its not one those fics where Kagome actually gives in to the very people who disowned them and giving up her life that would majorly suck.....  I hope she puts up a good fight....  I enjoy reading fics about those who done wrong to them and make their life hell for a bit.  While giving them the why should I and what have you done for me thing.  God its fun to make others suffer a bit....

Does Miroku even care about the horrible situation he is putting Kagome in?  Kikyo is going to be horribleto her, and the whole family looks down on her because of her mother.  I sincerely hope for her sake that Sango and Sesshoumaru will be able to help her.  (I guess I shouldn't just assume that Sango will be in the story, sorry!)  Great update!  I really am interested to see what happen in your story!  Please post another chapter soon!

Great beginning to your story!  I can't wait to find out what scandal involved Kagome's birth.  I feel so sorry for Kagome, because she is going to have to deal with Kikyo and her father's hate and jealousy.  Please update again soon.  I really hope that Sesshoumaru will be able to support Kagome.
