This was an awesome little one shot, but i'm also insanely curious as to what the hell took him so long LOL Anywho you're a great writer and i love your work, can't wait to see what else happens in Godlike to! ^_^
That. Was. So. Cute. *teary eyed* such a long wait, he better have a good excuse! (though I'm sure anything would be fine for her?)
Sweet Blessed...Lord... to say I loved this would be a gross understatement. Your timing and tonal/grammatical construction was perfect, and by pairing the richly detailed investigation of her thoughts with the simple, succinct dialogue, I was immediately immersed in her feelings, her fear and their love story. His last statement held so much weight it was genius. He spoke as if her wait in that restaurant mirrored his centuries without her: the daily distractions that both mitigate and exacerbate opposing feelings, the loss of hope, the foolishness, the deep desire to never give up. As the viewer watched her wait and felt her pain, we watched him wait, too. This story was obviously well thought out and carefully written, and damn if you didn't knock it out of the park. Suffice to say this is an emotional powerhouse. Great stuff.

What a beautiful story! My heart was breaking for Kagome, I was so sure he wouldn't come. Thank you so much for the happy ending! That made the story perfect!
How tender, sweet and beautiful. And so very well written. I look forward to reading more of your work.
