Hey! Ducky here!  I just read the first chapter (obviously), and I'm very intrigued so far.

First off, i want to say that alternate unis are my ultimate favorite.  I liked the set up with the sun as dawn was approaching.  I thought it was symbolic of Sesshoumaru's hope and also of sesshoumaru's predicament at the end of the first chapter. 

I do have a couple of questions that will undoubtedly be answered in later chapters but...

1. Is sesshoumaru a demon?
2. Why is it that there was no trial/no due process for sesshoumaru after being accused of this crime?  Even if it was his weapon, that does not guarantee his culpability (IMO). 

There are a couple of issues with tense and grammar, but it didn't necessarily detract from the enjoyment of the chapter.  The plot line so far is interesting and intense, as sesshoumaru is arrested in chapter one!  I wonder how that will play into sesshoumaru's return, his victimizer, and kagome's reaction. 

This story reminds me of The Count of Monte Cristo in that Sesshoumaru is the innocent young man (edmond dantes) accused of a misdeed he did not commit.  Kagome would be like Mercedes (the love interest) who is forced to wait without knowing anything that happens.  I have a prediction and it is that Kagome would somehow get married/be connected to the man who put away sesshoumaru.  He'll probably come home after breaking out of prison.  Sesshoumaru is a superstar and he'll never wait that long to be freed from prison.  I'm excited for your story and i hope you update soon!

Your writing is very descriptive. I really enjoyed it. I also am wondering who set Sesshoumaru up. The plot thickens. I would love to read more.

Beautiful.  I do wish that it had been a little longer and maybe with some interaction between Sesshomaru and Kagome.  Nevertheless, I do hope you continue this.  It has so much promise.

This is a really good beginning.  It's so sad, and it leaves me wondering what will happen when Sesshoumaru returns.  Will Kagome still be there, waiting for him?  Will he find out who set him up and why?  I do hope you continue this story.

Interesting beginning and would love to see where you'd take this if you do continue it.  Noticed a few typos such as 'which' instead of 'where' and the story seemed slightly rushed, but other than that it was a very nicely done beginning.  Discriptions flowed rather well and with a little more work, I think this could turn into a very well written story.
