Is Sesshoumaru going to be a mute in this story? Did something happen to his vocal chords in the distant past? Why hasn't Kagome asked him about being silent? He's evidently having to do a lot of pantomining to be around each other this long since she doen't have the ability to read his mind. I'm enjoying the story but it's beginning to seem odd with no dialogue between them. Of course, no words were needed when she got an eyeful in the bathroom!

Cute! I was expecting Sess to be all uptight when Kagome walked in on him changing. The way he reacted was perfect! Now I'm wondering, is Kagome OUR Kagome, who has travelled through the well? The picture of a demon she carries in her wallet could have been taken during the feudal era, or at the high school festival ("Don't Boil It!"), or she could have made contact with one of her old friends from the feudal era who survived to modern times. It could be a new demon friend she made in modern times. If it was a picture of Inuyasha, Sess would have known it was his half-brother, even after 500 years. Sess is being a little funny. Did he live through the whole intervening 500 years, or did he pop into the modern era through some magical means? On the other hand, this Kagome could be an alternate universe miko, who never got pulled into the well. It was clever to give her amnesia, that way you don't have to use any cute tricks to draw out the suspense. Either Kagome will have to remember on her own, or someone, maybe the demon in the photograph, might track her down to Sess' cabin. Either way, this is a really suspensful fic. You have me on the edge of my chair, waiting for the next update. But that is nothing new, for you Oroyukae

Ahhh . . . the tension between those two is killing me:) This is a great story, so far, and a great idea. I love how you have Sesshoumaru communicating with Kagome without speaking at all. I can imagine what a huge shock it will be to her if he ever does speak. Keep up the good work!

Sorry, I forgot to answer the spambot test question. I finally read all the chapters to this story. I love it! I have so many questions. Why does Sess live in the mountains? How will he deal with his feelings for his little house guest? One the biggest ones when will he finally talk to her!? I look forward to your update.

I bet this IS a demon Sess, burned out by the modern world. I'm 45, and feel ready to retreat to a mountain top, myself. Think how discouraging the world must be to someone who has been around for a thousand years...

This is getting quite interesting. I like the way his thoughts keep flucuating between wanting to get rid of her quickly and his uninvited thoughts of her legs, and other places he tries not to look upon. Now he has to endure her scent on his sofa when he lays down to rest, where by her scent will then to be on his clothes and hair. If he returns her to the sofa he still has her scent now on his bed and blankets...oh what is a man to do...but suffer! And if these last days have been any indication, it's only going to increase tenfold! Maybe he might reconsider the thought of keeping her now. Nah...??? Loving the way this is going, Lady O!
