I'm so glad Kagome left InuYasha.  I hope he is not able to just merrily move on to some woman he was cheating with, I hope he shows proper regret, or at least doesn't move on easily.  But poor Kagome!  Talk about jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.  I can't wait to find out what Kagome's job is.

So much packed into one beginning chapter!  Usually the first chapter is little more than ornamental scrollwork (I think Ernest Hemingway said that...) but in this story, you have a whole lot going on here.  I like it when a story just starts bombing away like this.  InuYasha is such a chump.  And Sesshy.   Hmmm, I wonder what is motivating him.  I hope he really wants Kagome, and is'nt just playing with her to tick off his brother...

So far I really like what you've done with this story.  I think the only complaint I have is the lack of attention to detail about certain parts, such as some information about the women introduced in chapter 2.  We know who they are in the anime/manga, but who are they in your story?  Unless you're planning on explaining more details later and the secrecy is part of the plot line, I'd suggest giving us some more information.  That said, I can't wait for your next update!  I like the general idea behind this alot!
