Kirin just had to appear and mess up a good thing. Just when Sesshoumaru was beginning to think about Kagome and seemed on the verge of giving in to his curiosity about her. Then that Kirin character had to nip it in the bud. Now this will make Sesshoumaru even colder and more dangerous. I'm almost afraid that he'll no longer even want Rin around. He'll not want anything around that will make him seem or look weak. You've got me curious now.

That was really good. I'll admit, I am a brutal editor, and in my opinion, too much fanfic wallows in the mire of wish fulfillment. But your story is very well done. Some of the dialog and descriptions are a little rough (I don't think Kagome would cuss so much, even in her thoughts), but your sense of pacing and story development, not to mention subtlety, are genuinely literary, and far above what I've come to expect in the average "fic". You have a lot going here, and I look forward to seeing the rest of this story, and your future work.
