I really like the development of this chapter. It's really detailed and it shows the reader how Kagome and Sesshoumaru feel about the choice they made. Well done! I really like this chapter.

I can't wait until the next chapter. I want to read more about the Inn that Kagome and Sesshoumaru are planning to buy. I think that they would be very content with their lives. It's so cute!

Very nice, really like the story so far. I must say even though that isn't the end, it would make for an epic one. Hm, well that's my opinion. I hope to see more soon, great read one of my favorite stories.

Thank you for the update!  You did a wonderful job explaining Kagome and Sesshomarus' actions in leaving Yoshimaru behind, but some part of me is still a little unhappy that you took the plot in that direction.  This chapter, however, did help the believability factor behind that plot turn.  Extra kudos for developing Yoshimaru's character so wonderfully.  Can't wait to read the reunion scene, but I'd also like to see a chapter that deals with how Kagome and Sesshmaru have been dealing with the seperation.  Happy writings and please update soon! 

Well that followed the son and everybody in the past. I wonder if there will be a chapter that follows the parents after they leave. I think you did a pretty good job combining all that time while still explaining everything that went on and the reasoning behind it. Interesting as well that Yoshimaru doesn't hate his grandmother or come to resent her when he learns that she played a part in his parents leaving him behind. I can't wait to see what happens next though and if they will all be reunited (soon) :)

Great insight here :) I feel sorry for Kagome and Sesshoumaru when their child meets up with them. This is gonna be tuff, especially on him, because, he feels let down.I wonder, will Sesshoumaru handle such bitterness towards Kagome from his own son? That could certain cause some problems, especially, if that son comes to them in the future as soon as they get back with all this built up maddness!! GREAT STORY....like everything you've done with it.

i Am kinda wondering about the timeline now though, SK went to the future and kagoem saw herself with a small child, while chasing a hat, at the same time, that means that if they went to the future, not just leaving the west, that they would have had to arrived some time before kagome falls down the well at 15. considering how demons and even half demons ages, for the child to be a toddler - 5, maybe even decades @_@

Wow!  I am sad to say I saw this coming in the foreshadowing several chaps ago.  I know tht this decision has life shattering effects.  When a woman gives a child up for adoption no matter the reason she goes through a very intense experience.  I can not speak for them but I understand tht is very real and painful.  I am the type of parent tht makes sacrifices for their children not sacrifice the child.  I really dnt see how you can have yoshimaru not resent his parents for this decision because they basically decided tht this was not the life for them and he can take their place.  And I am sure sesshmaru should have issues with it.  He wasn't even consulted in her decision to hand his son over so tht he could be spared from ruling.  He has basically condemned his son to his childhood and didn't look back.  He has no reassurances tht his mother changed.  You did address his loss and how he was looking forward to having his son.  I would have respected him more if he had talked to kagome.  Havi g a child changes you and the lose of a child through adoption or miscarriage changes you as well as a couple and an individual person.  These are important things to take into account.  I dnt she how yoshimaru can't as an adult view them as cowards. There is typically a sense of rejection and resentment tht children abandoned feel and honestly tht is what yoshimaru was abandoned.  I know kagome probably felt he was left in good hands and trusted those she left him with but it doesn't change the fact tht it is not his parents and nothing can change tht for a child.

I have been crying like crazy the last two chapters.  Talk about sad. You defiantly broke my heart.  But can sess really b happy in the future with kag.  Poor little yoshi breaks my heart

Mkay. I have just one question about this chapter.  What about what Kagome saw in the park with her, a little hanyou daughter, and Sesshoumaru on that windy day? If the well really closed and Kagome is back in her time with Sesshoumaru....that had to have been a false/out of time vision....and I'm confused.

Other then that, I like this chapter. Kinda like an overview and snippets of the time, people, and places they left behind. Also, ShippoxRin is awesome. Now they will both see Sesshoumaru and Kagome again. <3

Another wonderful chapter! This adventure is coming to an end...but I have loved it the entire way! Looking forward to the end with a smile :)
