| You updated! *does Snoopy happy dance* I absolutely love this story and was thrilled to see that it was updated this morning. And what a great chapter -- Sess and Aion go at it and Kagome ends up smoking his ass (literally)! One small critique I have is:how much of an understanding would a 15th-16th century Youkai have of Mendelian genetics (I'm refering to the line where Akito is thinking about the recessive gene theory his mother gave to all of her children)? Other than that, great chapter, but please update quicker? What could I bribe you with?

A mark of a brilliant story is one that does not become stale upon re-reading and LAD has earned the honor of being my most revisited piece of fanfiction. Like my favorite sweet and sour dish, it is equal parts angsty and funny and always filling. The author's singular talent lies in producing the most evocative and heartwarming sesskag moments ever written. Like the best of poetry, the words describing the 'sleeping scenes' are so concrete that one can almost smell the dawn and feel the rustle of sheets.
