Hey, I just wanted to tell you why I've unliked Cherry Bomb. I haven't kept up with it, so tonight I was rereading it so I could catch up. But then I got to the part where Sesshoumaru punished her for being late to work by sexually frustrating her. I really worry when people put out works that accept that kind of behavior. Girls may say that they know not to let a man toy with them, but the fact is that what they read does influence them, even if they don't realize it. That kind of behavior by a man is a power play; it has nothing to do with love or honest lust. It's a way to break a woman, to enforce his wants and needs over hers. In fact, by sexually punishing an employee for being late, he legally committed sexual harrassment, and depending on state law, rape.

I'm putting this down in a review, because I want to address this for everyone. Everyone, even fanfic writers, need to stand up against sexual abuse, male or female. One of the reasons sexual harrassment and date rape was and can still be so very hard to prosecute is because it has been socially acceptable for so long. After all, romance novels had date rape... it was considered fine for a man to force a woman, as long as she enjoyed herself at some point. In fact, beginning as early as the 1970s, the romance publishing industry pushed writers to incorporate rape in their novels if they wanted to be published. They didn't stop until the late 1990s.

If you are going to keep your story like this, please put up a warning that it contains illegal, abusive sexual behavior. If you want a very good website to check out rape myths and facts, go to https://well.wvu.edu/articles/rape_myths_and_facts.

Haha! Great story! Love how Kagome used her womanly wiles on Sesshoumaru with her school girl costume, nice touch. The party promises to be very interesting. Love how all the characters come together and interact what a great alternate universe you have penned. I really like this story. great job!

The new chapter was great! Kagome is really glowing, and it's funny that she has all those marks around her neck and is the last to figure it out!
