This is a very interesting story; I do love it. But the fact that Inuyasha plays a large role as Kagome's lover, now mate. It kinda confuses me. But its good.

Let me begin by first telling you this is an amazing story. I, always, look foward to your updates.  Now that I have said that, I want to say I agree with the other reviews about Kagome.  She is being the selfish one here, even though I think Sesshoumaru's reaction was a bit harsh, it was totally called for...He was hurt to here his son call Inuyasha Da Da, which he is not.  I, also, think Inuyasha is a bit selfish as well and thick headed.  When a man usually finds out his wife has cheated he leaves her, especially when he finds out she has given birth to that man's baby. And to further add insult to injury, Inuyasha is only married to Kagome, he is not her true mate, Sesshoumaru is...and she knew he was, but married Inuyasha anyway.  Kagome is obviously happier and in love with Sesshoumaru, but she is to weak with guilt for clearing falling out of love with Iunyasha to admit it.  In my personally opinion, she married him because she felt she had to after making such a big deal about loving him while he was running to Kikyo. Hopefully, Inuyasha will finally see where her heart lies and let her go. Sesshoumaru, I believe, would be a better father if he didn't have to deal with the fact that Inuyasha was raising HIS son with HIS mate.  It's like Sesshoumaru is not being given the chance to be a father.  Hopefully, his mother with help all three see the true light.  I like how you protray her...she rocks.  Keep up the terrific work and I look forward to your next great update.  This is truly a thought provoking story.

I like how the author presents the drama with the least words and though my stomach wretches at the characterization of Kagome, the story itself is very thought provoking. I would be a hypocrite to dismiss its premises without remembering that many other sesskag fanfiction has Sesshomaru with several females. Keep writing. Let us see where you take this.

I have to agree with another reviewer here. Kagome is being VERY selfish. She doesn't want to choose, so she forces everyone to basically put up with it, without really caring for how anyone feels. I mean, I feel like storywise we're supposed to sympathize with her but I don't, at all. I mean, I realize that the nuclear family of one mom, one dad is not always universal and that there are people out there who can make an arrangement like this work (which is VERY, VERY rare). But all parties have to be on board, and it seems, in the situation presented here, that the only one on board is her. She's being unfair to Inuyasha. She's being unfair to Sesshoumaru. Clearly, Sesshoumaru is uncomfortable with the arrangement, to a certain extent Inuyasha is as well and it's the height of unfairness for her to just expect to bend to her will and accept it. If that is not the life for you, no matter how much you love someone, you shouldn't be forced to endure something that makes you uncomfortable -- to change when you don't feel that change is right. Any relationship expert will tell you that.

But worst of all, in my mind, is she's being unfair to her child by doing this. Sesshoumaru's choice isn't much better, but Kagome forced this situation.

Anyway, I want to make clear that this is in no way a flame. Just legit concrit, and pretty much my straight up opinion on situations like this. Internets opinions are worth very little, IMHO (irony). Feel free to ignore or make straw effigies of me and poke pins in them. I'm cool with that.

But I gotta admit, you totally succeed as a writer -- to get your audience to react this strongly, you are definitely doing something right. Keep it up and happy writing!

Is there a chapter missing or something? In the 1st several chapters the plan was for Kagome, Inuyasha & the baby to live in the castle with Sesshoumaru, then after the Inuyasha is back & going to Sess's mom for comfort chapter, Sess has a break down because Kagome is leaving & she goes & spends 6 months with Inu in the village aparently, but when was that decided?  It just comes out of the blue with no chapter explaining the arrangement or who decided it & why or anything.
