I really enjoyed this & thought Sess's mom was portrayed in a unique manner. Just in case you're interested you have a common word choice error in this, up near the top where Sess's mom says they're in her palace which was once the Inu no Taishos, you have wearier (weary - Physically or mentally fatigued) instead of wary/warier (marked by keen caution, cunning, and watchfulness especially in detecting and escaping danger). Hope this helps.
