Ha! I just read the next two entries and just realized that this actually is chapter length (well sorta). YAY! I can't wait for the next challenge so this continues.
I usually don't like to say this, but I really hope you decide to turn this one-shot into a chapter length story in the future. I'm really intrigued by the possibilities of the "backstory" between them and Inuyasha. Even if it does remain a one-shot it was great. It got the gears rolling in my mind. :)

Adorable, simply adorable. Only thing, about half-way through you changed "Yuki" to "Yumi" and carried on that way. I'm not sure which one you meant but i just thought i'd just let you know! :)
