Oh, yes.  This is simply perfect writing.  It's so weird, how I read a story summary, and think I won't like the story, then find out how very, very wrong I was!  It always happens with alternate universe stories.  So, yet again, I admit that I was mistaken.  I love, love, love it!

it is totally believable that Sango woud teach kickboxing.  That was cute and oh so sweet, can't wait for the next chapter.
